Forest school and
bushcraft experts James and Lea Kendall, who run the Woodland Classroom in Wrexham, will be unlocking the culinary secrets of Wales' hedgerows and forests at the event between October 19-20.
Forest school and
bushcraft experts James and Lea Kendall will be hosting interactive cooking workshops throughout this year's event to reconnect parents and children with nature to boost their mental wellbeing.
James and Lea host courses on foraging, wilderness cooking,
bushcraft and outdoor survival skills.
Other fun activities include a fairground, mini monster truck rides, Scalextric racing, remote control trucks, an inflatable assault course, climbing wall and an inflatable slide, plus free
Bushcraft skills workshop on the Sunday.
The attempt - highlighting the dangerous decline of bees - will form part of Manchester Festival of Nature, a huge event bringing
bushcraft, forest school skills, natural crafts, a Tree Trail go all out with a bee costume, or just wear something yellow and black, everyone is encouraged to get in the spirit of the festival and join the bee procession.
It focuses on training Malawi's rangers in tracking,
bushcraft, infantry skills and information analysis.
