Sony's PlayStation loyalty program, PS Stars, has made its return in several major regions. Fans residing in Asia, Australia, and Europe should now have access to the service once again. The Americas still appear to be offline, but should follow suit soon.

PS Stars went offline over a month ago, with Sony engineers working to get the program back and operational within the PlayStation mobile app. The platform holder confirmed it'd be coming back in a staggered regional rollout, and thankfully it's been executing on that plan. As mentioned, North and South America have yet to get back access to PS Stars, but its recent return in Europe suggests it's not far off now.

If you're unaware, PS Stars is a loyalty program for PSN account holders. Once you sign up, you'll automatically accrue points on every purchase you make via the PS Store, which can be spent on credit for your digital wallet, a selection of games and DLC, and digital collectibles. You can also earn more points and digital collectibles by completing time-limited campaigns each month. Currently only accessible via the mobile app, it's meant to be coming to PS5 and PS4 consoles too, though there's no timeframe for that.

During this downtime, users have been unable to earn or spend points. Many are hoping any lost points for purchases made while PS Stars have been offline will be reimbursed, although Sony has yet to commit to anything like that.
