Euphony is the Exotic raid weapon introduced in Destiny 2’s The Final Shape expansion — a fusion rifle earned in the Salvation’s Edge raid, continuing a tradition from previous Destiny raids.

In this Destiny 2 guide, we’ll show you how to get Euphony and explain the ways you can increase its drop rate.

How to get Euphony

Euphony is a random drop chance after defeating The Witness in the Salvation’s Edge raid. You get one chance for it to drop per character per week, with the odds of it dropping increasing slightly each time you do not receive it. You can also increase your chances by completing certain Triumphs, which we’ve explained below.

There are 13 Triumphs that increase your chance to receive Euphony, and they are:

  • At All Costs - Complete all encounters without any fireteam members dying or returning to orbit. (+3 increase)
  • Unified Front - Complete all encounters with a fireteam made up of entirely the same class. (+1 increase)
  • Scenic Route - Complete the Scenic Route challenge. (+1 increase)
  • Touch and Go - In Substratum, complete the encounter without any player acquiring an additional stack of Resonance before the rest of the fireteam has gained a stack. (+1 increase)

  • Careful Calculation - In Zenith, complete the encounter without any player exceeding 2 stacks of any resonant energy. (+1 increase)

What Euphony does

Euphony is a 533 charge time Strand linear fusion rifle that uses special ammo. It has two exotic perks.

  • Spindle: Threadling damage increases this weapon’s damage.
  • Unwound: Dealing sustained damage with this weapon spawns Threadlings at the target’s location.
