Ryan Gilliam (he/him) has worked at Polygon for over eight years. He primarily spends his time writing guides for massively popular games like Diablo 4 & Destiny 2.

Oracular Seeker is a secret Triumph in Destiny 2’s “The Whisper” mission, which you can unlock by finding all seven hidden Oracles. Completing this Triumph will not only allow you to upgrade your Whisper of the Worm Exotic with a more powerful Intrinsic perk, it’ll also net you a sweet Exotic ship called the Karve of the Worm.

In this Destiny 2 guide, we’ll show you how to find each of the hidden Oracles inside “The Whisper” mission.

If you’re after an additional perks when crafting Whisper of the Worm, then you also need to find Taken Blights in “Whispers of the Taken”.

To find the first Oracle, progress “The Whisper” mission until you drop down the hole in the Io cave and walk past the dead Vex bodies. Once you get to the big wall of red light that leads to the rest of the mission, stop and do not jump down. Instead, take a left and jump over the small wall ahead of you. Once you reach the end of that platform, take another left and you’ll find the Oracle. Shoot it.

Proceed through “The Whisper” mission until you have to ride a small box elevator up to progress. Continue forward but do not turn left down the hallway like you normally would. Instead, look forward and you’ll see a thin platform. Jump on it and keep looking left. Eventually, you’ll find an illuminated gap in the wall that leads to a small room. Jump inside and you’ll find an Oracle. Shoot it.

Proceed through the mission until you reach the long, red hallway where you’ll face Taken bumpers and some Fallen Vandals. Continue to the end of the room, where you’ll find a door that opens and closes every few seconds. If you reach the portal room where Xol starts talking to you, you’ve gone too far.

Jump to the small platform in front of the exit door and turn around. Look back at the platform you came from and you’ll notice a second platform on the other side. Jump to the back platform and you’ll find the Oracle sitting there. Shoot it.

Past the aforementioned portal room, you’ll enter the infamous “green room.” If you’ve followed my guide for “The Whisper” and know where the shortcut is here, ignore it and take the long way. To do this, you’ll need to climb the wall using some extremely small ledges. Start on the left side, near where you came in, and work your way around the room. Eventually, you’ll find a small gap (which I’ve highlighted in the image above) that you can jump into, which will lead to the rest of the mission. Inside this gap is the fourth Oracle. Shoot it.

In the same “green room” as Oracle 4, you’ll find a massive crack in the middle of the room. If you jump straight into the crack, you’ll find a pit that leads to your death. But if you jump down and to the side, you’ll find a dark platform filled with Thrall shadows. Head down.

Ignore the Thrall and head to the back of the room, away from where you started. You’ll find a short, dark hallway. On the right side of the hallway, you’ll see a small entrance. Crouch and walk inside to find Oracle number five. Shoot it.

Take the shortcut out of the “green room” and make your way onto the big cylinder. Walk around the edge until you reach what looks like a diving board. This long platform is what you’re supposed to jump off of to reach the rest of the mission, but do not jump. Instead, look to the left of the diving board. You’ll see a dark crevice. Jump down and you’ll find a platform tucked into the wall. Land on the platform and follow the path to find the sixth Oracle.

From the sixth Oracle, jump back up onto the diving board and head back along the cylinder to where you first jumped onto it from the “green room” shortcut. Look out into the darkness and you’ll see what looks like a Vex portal in the distance.

To your right, you’ll see some rocks across from the cylinder. Take a running jump and leap over to the blocks. Climb the side of the wall (Strand Grapple makes this easier, if you have it) until you are overlooking the Vex Portal below. Behind the portal is the final Oracle. You can either shoot it from where you’re standing or jump down to the portal itself. Just be warned that getting back onto the main mission path from the portal is a little tricky.

Once you’ve found all seven Oracles, you can unlock the Oracular Seeker Triumph in your Triumph menu. This will instantly give you the Karve of the Worm Exotic ship — pictured above — which is a Vex-y twist on the classic A Thousand Wings Exotic ship from the original mission.

All done? If you’re after an additional perks when crafting Whisper of the Worm, then you also need to find Taken Blights in “Whispers of the Taken”.
