Steam has kicked off its annual Summer Sale, and is offering awesome discounts on a number of new releases and other essential titles through July. You can even get a 15% discount on the 64 GB and 256 GB versions of the original Steam Deck. While there are literally hundreds of games on sale, we’ve picked out a handful of recommendations that we think you should check out, many of which are, coincidentally, Steam Deck Verified.


Elden Ring

Elden Ring, the brutal, open-world RPG from From Software recently received its first expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree. While the expansion isn’t currently discounted, the base game is on sale for $41.99, matching its lowest price ever on Steam.

Palworld

The open-word creature-catching sim Palworld just got its biggest update since its launch, introducing a new island with new strongholds, items, and even more Pals to catch. The $30 early access title is currently on sale for $22.49 on Steam, matching its best price yet.

Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition

Horizon Forbidden West has been ported to the PC and is currently on sale for $47.99, its lowest price yet. Dubbed the Complete Edition, this version of the game features graphical options only available on PC and also includes the Burning Shores DLC.

Celeste

Celeste is one of the best platformers ever made, thanks to its tight controls, challenging gameplay, and extensive accessibility options. This vivid and occasionally punishing title offers poignant insights into how we take care of our mental health. If you haven’t had a chance to play Celeste yet, we can’t recommend it enough, especially when it’s on sale for $1.99 (was $19.99).

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

CD Projekt Red’s medieval fantasy RPG from 2015 still has plenty of juice, especially when served up on the Steam Deck, and is currently on sale for its lowest price ever. If you’ve never experienced this amazing game for yourself, you can pick up The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from Steam for just $3.99 (was $39.99).

Fallout 76

Fallout 76 has had its peaks and valleys, but we can confidently say that the post-apocalyptic MMORPG is worthy of your time and attention. You can pick up a copy for just $9.99 through Steam (was $39.99).

Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader

Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader takes the grimdark setting of the 41st millennium and gives it the CRPG treatment with dense mechanics and memorable characters. Rogue Trader is currently on sale for just $32.49 on Steam, its lowest price ever.

Blasphemous 2

The follow-up to the ultra-violent Metroidvania Blasphemous, Blasphemous 2 is more accessible thanks to new traversal and build options without dulling the edge on its unforgiving combat and epic boss fights. You can pick up a copy from Steam right now for just $14.99 (was $29.99).
