It’s time to return to Tilted Towers. Fortnite is getting a surprise update this weekend. It’s called “Reload” and it’ll launch on Saturday, the official Fortnite account said on X. A teaser trailer revealed it this update will introduce a new map and mode to Fortnite.

You can view the full teaser on the official Fortnite X account. Longer-time players might recognize the map has classic locations from previous versions of the game like Tilted Towers, Retail Row, and more. Other than that, we don’t have a lot of details on the update. However, the map looks a bit smaller than your average Fortnite map, so players will have to see how that will impact this new way to play.

Fortnite is currently in Chapter 5 Season 3. The current version of the game, called “Wrecked,” has players duke it out in a desert wasteland inspired by Fallout and features the metal band Metallica. At the moment, the game is going full Mad Max and allows players to fight with a variety of tricked out war vehicles and more. It’s a rather chaotic way to play and has inspired criticism from players. Now, it’s looking like fans will be able to try their hand at a new play mode.
