Version differences
- Warlords III: Reign of Heroes is the initial 1997 release of the game.
- Warlords III: Darklords Rising is an expanded version of the game, released in 1998. It includes all of the content from Reign of Heroes, as well as 4 more campaigns, 15 stand-alone scenarios, and additional units, spells, and heroes.[1]
