Hi, I'm Rusty. My team and I are making Infested, an upcoming video game. Infested is an indie RTS/FPS Hybrid with full cross-platform and multiplayer support. Build Turrets, Control AI Attacks, Expand the fungi domain! The game is currently in development and will be released on Steam and Epic for PC and Mac. We have a steam page, but it's not public yet.

Features:
★ Play as a Marine or Fungi Character: Fully asymmetrical game-play
★ Unreal Engine 5: As the Fungi domain takes over the map, the environment changes.
★ Fully cross-platform/cross-play: Create a party and matchmaking will do the rest.
★ Next Generation AI, Multiple Classes, Launch a rocket full of pheromones and the Infested AI will do the rest.
★ Strategize as the Commander in RTS mode, or fight your enemies in exciting FPS scenarios. Lots of fun!
★ Level Designers work with Unreal Engine 5 creating awesome outdoor battlefields.
★ Infested has lots of weapons, and some pretty cool abilities.
★ The Multi-tool allows marines to cut metal out of map assets to build exclusives, repair damaged structures. or re-enforce an existing structure.
★ When the Marine Commander upgrades your tech level. Additional functionalities are unlocked. Such as this Grenade Launcher / Flamethrower combo.

Imagine a swarm of NPC units, circling the Infested Queen. Something is under attack! Watch the swarm leave the nest to respond to the threat. Everything in the Fungi domain is connected. A true hive mind. Infested Players are also connected and with abilities allowing them fast movement abilities thanks to wall walking, flying, etc. the battles are absolutely epic. We are using placeholder characters for Fungi at the moment while we iron out the mechanics before modelling. Once everything is complete, it's going to be a fantastic experience for everyone.
