    REQUEST OPEN!!
I'm willing to update any old/outdated mods on Next Gen 4.04, upon those rules:
    - No overhaul or huge mods, such Ghost Mode, Vladimir UI or Geralt Doppler.
    - I can only edits scripts, bundled text (xml and csv), and redcloth, w2scenes, w2ent, w2mesh, etc...
I can't modify texture, sound or redsfw.
    - Will always be Brothers in Arms compatible.
    - Once the update tested and working, I will send the updated mod to the original author via Direct Message.
    - I only ask my name in the credits, no DP asking.
    - But if I got no answer less than 7 days, I will publish by myself and give 50% DP to the author.
    Check Trello requested list.

What does the patch do? If I have menu strings mod, do I download main and patch files and overwrite using the patch??

Menu strings offer the possibility to groups mods setting into category, so that fix the bugs they cannot open if we have more than 9 mods settings.
The patch I provide already put the config into a category, so you don't have to follow Menu String instruction.

And yes, first download the main files, then the patch to overwrite it.

How did you know how to update .w2ent files?  For that you'd need to understand the author's changes...

In case you don't know, I'm the lead contributor of Next-Gen Patch Changelog 1.32 vs 4.04. With the helps of Wolven Workshop, we collect all files that were change by the Next Gen update since at least 4.00Hotfix2.

I use WolvenKit which provide a tool that convert any bundle files into a readable text files, and I still have a backup of the Classic 1.32
So I just convert the mod files and vanilla files (Next Gen 4.04 and Classic 1.32), I compare all and double check in my Next Gen Patch Changelog.

That's how I determine where I should apply the mod edits to Next Gen files. It even helps me to understand the mod and the Next Gen update when I tested it.

CDPR did put a true "Lantern" , somewhere in Velen.
But I would update this mod as well since it might be useful.

After some testing, the mod is working with Ray Tracing. But I'm not wrong either.
Read the description, you will understand why.
