Would it be possible to make a sound mod for this game? The creature sounds are really the same ear bombarding high pitch screech throughout, that stand out too much which becomes tiring and annoying as a cheap forced scare, that runs thin pretty quickly and lets the whole game down. A mod to make them sound more a low hiss and sneaky would make the game lot more immersive and interesting in the sci fi way.
