In game press [Shift+Insert] to view guide.
You can share saved layouts :) Look for them in mod's folder "Code\Layout".
Pipes and cables are tricky things:
Grid on the left: what I try capture.
Grid on the right: what my mod will built.
Try to avoid capture difficult grids, because it must be build in specific order, which is difficult to detect. So, in some cases game will not connect two "TubeHub"s with pipe between them.
