I am the one and only WillieSea. (blank look) I made a bunch of popular mods for the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series. (blank stare) Okay, so I am just some dude who when he see's something he does not like, he 'fixes' it.
I never liked it that the bridge was broken in the first place, I mean what, the Zed's pulled it down? Not likely, even for a Big 'Un, he is not quite 20000 GVW. Close but not quite... So in my game, the bridge was never broken in the first place, making runs to the Ranger Station much more palatable.
I think the bridge wasn't broken by zeds, directly. There's a crashed car in the river, probably as result of a car accident on the bridge. Anyway this is a good mod if there are survivor enclaves in Mt Tanner, it's so scary to go there in night time without a bloody car!!

Don't think I've seen a Williesea mod that wasn't awesome. My favorite was probably the Ancient Towers for Oblivion. Seem to remember spending hours in its basement arena, summoning as many critters as I could fight at once until I crashed my game.
Nah, that wrecked car was probably someone [looks at Benbenben] who decided to drive over the bridge that was already broken and missed the jump and died in the crash.
Fucking fantastic, this absolutely needed to be done. Was getting really tired of having to take the 10 minute detour while babysitting loser survivors with 5+ freaks at my tail...
This is awesome - I always messed up when I tried to jump that broken bridge, yet for some reason, I was always driven to try and jump it again and again whenever I passed through that area... Wrecked a lot of cars and left me in the woods with miles to travel before I was able to find a working vehicle (that had not been ditched over that blasted bridge). Also; it never really made much sense to me why the bridge was broken in the first place, so thanks for fixing it
I'm guessing the zombies originally originated from there or there were survivors on Mt Tanner and wanted a way to stop zombies getting to them so they destroyed the bridge....little to their dumbness that zombies can CLIMB! HOLY BAT s#*! WHY DID WE EVEN DESTROY THAT BRIDGE NOW OUR CARS CANT EVEN ACROSS IT IF WE WANT TO GO BACK!??
Thanks for this. I always thought the bridge being destroyed was completely needless. What the heck destroyed it? It just makes you abandon that first vehicle for no real reason.
Thanks for this mod. Before that, like I just start the game, I always asking myself how to leave the Mt Tanner.
I looked at the map and then decided to do a simple thing, take the car available, move to the point of the road the most far away from the bridge then follow the road at full speed. And it works, I just jump on the other side with the car.
But then I see that we can go down under the bridge by the right or left side of the road but no other direct way to move up in the other side. So, I suggest that my way isthe fastest and safest way to do, in a manner.
Bit late but.... Play without the fix then play with the fix then decide..... In story mode I use the bridge twice. First to leave then second to go back on a mission otherwise I never go back. In BD I never go near the place unless sent there. It's really your choice...

Once i failed the jump on high level BD. Almost fatal ^^
