bro make a clearer readme file okay? -_-btw in my case the config.pak cannot extract its content it just say break operation by winrar there is something wrong with your readme file HAHAHA
Thanks for this but just so everyone knows, all options except mouse and draw distance changes don't do anything. Even with the maximum possible settings the only difference people will notice at all are draw distance changes.
For anyone reading this, I went ahead and applied the changes to the file, download it and put it into: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\State of Decay YOSE\Engine\Config
Download link: (to download the file press the downward pointing arrow on the top right corner of your screen) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UaZzEUmNwHN-aJYgdVTnYc-B0nROfMyO/view?usp=sharing
Use the setting "Graphics - Ultra Spec" in the graphic settings options menu in the game for it to work.
The download link is not a virus and if it was you could report it and ban my Google account (which I don't want), it's safe to download.
I use a mod for removing motion blur and bloom, and unfortunately something in your file here re-enables bloom in the game any idea what that could be? just so I could remove those lines of text.
Hey thanks for this mod, just curious for people who may not have the easiest time following the instructions for this mod - Wouldn't it be simplier to provide the CFG file (veryhighspecs.cfg) instead of the TXT file you put in your mod's zip (veryhighspecs.txt) so that people trying to use this fantastic mod don't have to go through extra steps, just paste the hypothetical cfg file into 'State of Decay YOSE\Engine' and be done with it?
I'm sure you have a reason why it can't just be that simple, but I thought I'd ask why at least if that's okay?
hey, let me try it, i think i did it but something made it not possible i guess. Looking the file secction, ther's a description that says; download the file and change the extension to .cfg to work. That simple, if someone doesnt know how to change extensions: - Go to any folder on your pc - Click on Show/view (at the top of the folder) - Then you can select the option; Show Filename extensions - Now you can change the extension of the files by changing name. I did not tested again, but i think the type of file wasn't supported by nexus mod uploader, so i had to do it like this.

Oh thank you mate, that's very kind, this was a while ago now but I believe I was asking on behalf of other modders. I believe I was able to do this myself, but I worried it might be over complicated for others with less years expirance in modding games. Was just trying to make a helpful suggestion at the time.
But hey, you're download link may be very helpful for others coming to this awesome mod with the interest in it but are getting stuck. Well done dude!
the install instructions are no longer valid i think i dont have the auto chain file or anything i watched the video too to ensure i was in the right directory
