You're in luck, that mod already exists! Install MapMarkers and use the showalltreasures command (CTRL+TAB to open SRML's console). Treasure pods have different icons when they've been opened, so you can tell them apart from unopened pods when looking at the map.
My son has been playing the game for years and is always happy when a mod is shared that he want to use. Unfortunately, I can't write my own mods (I´ve tried) because I have no knowledge of coding for SR or want to learn it (I'm too old for that). He has long wanted a very rare white slime with his name that creates "chalk plort" when fed (like pink slime)(+Bio). Maybe someone here can grant his wish...

One question, would it be possible to make a mod of the same type but for the treasure pods?
