Regarding the February / March 2023 update of Residient Evil 5 Gold edition removing the GWL requirement aka v1.2.0: Regrettably both helix and sweetfx no longer work. I tried some tricks but alas could not get the same result as with the older version....

Download https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/releases/download/1.3.16/3Dmigoto-1.3.1.zip Then just copy the nvapi.dll (x32) to the install dir of resident evil 5 gold edition and see if that works if not try by copying from the folder x32 d3d11.dll d3dcompiler_46.dll in 3Dmigoto-1.3.1.zip to the install dir of resident evil 5 gold edition as well.
Well that was a bad suggestion the mod uses helix not 3dmigoto apologies for the confusion.
Regrettably I have no idea what could be causing issues with AMD video cards for now.

The only other mod that i've installed beforehand is unofficial community patch by rick (can be found in RE5 steam guides, hard to miss out). And yeah guys, i dunno about the other downloadables but option B definitely works, at least as of 2024 june 21st.
As of the color correction and sharpening, you can apply sharpening and vibrance adjustments yourself by activating nvidia freestyle menu or you can download reshade installer and then use vibrance and lumasharpening options. ez pz
Is it possible to make a donation or something to get this mod or the 3D visionfix - Helix Mod updated? I can't believe the new update broke that mod...
God damnit, I'm going to make this mod work for me if it's the last thing I do. This is the best "piss filter removal" mod for RE5, I won't give up on it that easily
This mod was a lifesaver and my go to for RE5. The Steam version just received an update to get rid of the GFWL leftovers. Unfortunately, the eyesore of a filter is back to it's default green. Would it be possible to update the shaderfx and sweetfx in this package? The colors and contrast in those look better than the ReShade versions I've seen. Anyway, thanks again.
Yeah, I'm using the Gold Edition, or at least the RE5 version that came with both RE5 and the DLC. After the patch, the main menu itself says Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, but on my Steam page it just simply says Resident Evil 5. Either way, it wasn't the original GFWL version that came out since I bought this version back in like 2019 or 2020.

Assuming you mean when using RE5Fix.... Yes I have noticed that when the game is started it, seems, that the controller is not working however it does just bash some buttons for the detection to kick in.
It's probably caused by using 'xinput1_3.dll' as a proxy.
