Not what I thought it was when I first tried it but it helps deal with the problem I was having, which was trying to build while using the jet pack. Being able to stay level while hovering makes that much easier. Now if only we could have a jet pack toggle instead of having to hold a key down to use it.
Hi, I actually attempted to make this feature (pressing Space instead of holding). Unfortunately, it's not trivial to do this due to how the jump logic is coded. I am sure some more talented modder can do it but I do not have the time dedicated to this feature.
