Any plans on doing this for Octo2? This is basically a necessity for me (I hate vague AF descriptions like "a lot" or "Severe" vs "Massive") and would adore having it for the sequel.
Yep! I finally got around to beating OT2 the other day and the descriptions are so much more vague in that game! A certain end-game boss was giving me lots of trouble until i eventually learned what "advanced magic" and "alephan's wisdom" actually do. :(
Not sure how long it will take me, but i definitely want to make this mod for OT2 before i start replaying the game!
Hi, I know it's been a while since this came out, just wanted to say that this mod is S-tier, easily. But I did come to post a minor correction. Your description of the Intimidation support skill describes a far better skill that I wish the game had.
Current description:
Grants a 25% chance to debuff all foe's Phys. Atk. and Elem. Atk. for the duration of battle, reducing their damage dealt by 33%. (Equipping this skill with multiple characters will have no added effect.)
Corrected description:

I tried just replacing the text in the mod file myself (Ctrl+F made it easy to find) but the game refused to load after that. Figured that might happen!

Unfortunately i only know English and would not be able to translate it into German myself, but i can try to point you in the right direction if you'd like to try translating it! On the first page of this mod i've listed the sources i used for all the in-game info, and i learned how to hex edit the files from a video on youtube that i believe was called "octopath modding tutorial".
Unfortunately i don't think there is any quick and easy way to do it, since i created this mod by manually entering the text through a hex editing program, so it would most likely need to be entered that way into the GameTextFR file instead of GameTextEN. I believe i initially learned how to do it through a youtube video that was called "octopath modding tutorial"
