For anyone having trouble getting the MCM to appear in the pause menu, you MUST have Immersive HUD or any other MCM compatible mod installed AFTER MCM. So install MCM, install iHUD, and it should fix the issue like it did for me. The MCM must have something to go off before it can detected as installed I guess.
Tried from MO2 with the "Placeable Map Markers" mod, but the MGM isn't showing up. It's also sending a message before enetering the main menu with the Vanilla UI+ mod and the UIO mod, that i need to update UIO to the latest version.
I doubt anyone will answer, but I really don't know what to do, the option doesn't appear, the "mod configuration" option, does anyone know why this happens?
So I assume you are already aware that it will not show the option if there aren't any active mods that the menu uses. Do you use a mod loader? Do you have any other mods that are working that are loaded from the mod loader? I solved a recent issue with my mods, and perhaps it will fix your issue if no other mods are working for you.
Just in case anyone is here from the Viva New Vegas guide and it doesn't show up when you boot the game, I had to enable this mod under the "plugin" tab to the left of the "downloads" tab in the right pane. Once I clicked that, it worked haha.
My mods are all screwy but it's working for me now and honestly, I can't even say what I did. My "fix" reverted itself an hour later, and now it's working plenty fine again. Sadly my issue was not fixed with OldManGerardos suggestion, but it seems to be working now. If I figure out what is happening with this, ill let people know.
For Linux or Steamdeck users getting an error when trying to install this using the linux port of MO2: select the manual option when installing and deselect the readme. I don't know why this works but it does (for me at least).
If you are a linux or steamdeck user don't bother with this mod, the installer doesn't work at all. Edit you can follow the instructions here https://github.com/rockerbacon/modorganizer2-linux-installer/issues/446#issuecomment-1826939234 and get the mod to install and enable but it doesn't appear in game so i'm just going to say the mod doesn't work at all on linux for now.
I have a problem, the installer of this mod says NVSE is outdated, but is the most updated version, maybe this version doesn't recognize the actual version of xNVSE?
I've the same problem I tryed changing the version of the xNVSE, re instaling the from the start and it didn't got fixed in anyway have you manage to find a solution by any chance?
Popping in here to say that if you're following the Wasteland Survival Guide and downloaded this and had a error message upon pausing the game: You have to make the hotfix seperate from the main file, don't merge them or rewrite them.
Hi, I have a problem with the mod, currently using FOMM, and bu the time I activate the mod is says "No NVES" detected. And inside the game there are no aditional mod options nor the expected menu. Has anybody had this same problem before? Thank u, beforehand! Edit: I do have New Vegas Script Extender installed, just to clarify.

How do you manually install this mod? Please just tell me, and don't tell me to install a mod manager.Edit: I did so by extracting the FOMOD, and dropping its content into "Data".
Edit: I do have New Vegas Script Extender installed, just to clarify.
