This is a lot of fun to mess around with, even without using Joy of Painting. I noticed that on my setup (I have Animation Blending, Robert's Bodies pluginless, Westly's Faces, and a frankly irresponsible mix of clothing and armor mods) some of the animations don't display correctly when the targeted NPC is a DE male wearing a robe. Some just play a certain default idle animation that has nothing to do with the name of the selected animation, and a few look like they're almost working as intended but there's a lot of random twitching in addition to the scripted motions. I'll double-check my installation and experiment on different kinds of NPCs in different outfits. It's a very cool mod overall.
I recommend making sure to cycle to idle 8 or 9 for the ones which don't appear to do anything, but yeah, some of the animations are janky and don't work that well. I should probably go through and pick out non-working ones, I just took all the resources I could and dumped them in there.
Nice mod, thank you! It's similar to the animation frameworks for Skyrim. Animations can be added and removed via a .lua file. I hope the Author will take the time to implement a hotkey function for *previous animation* (because it is very easy to scroll through the desired animation)
