REQUIREMENTS:
=====================================================================================

This is a MWSE-Lua mod, and requires a valid installation of MWSE 2.1 or later.

* Morrowind, Tribunal, and Bloodmoon.
* MGE-XE 0.10.0
* MWSE 2.1

=====================================================================================
ABOUT THIS MOD:
=====================================================================================

This mod adds a configurable difficulty curve to the game, by modifying the in-game
difficulty setting as the player levels up or, if configured to do so, travels
around.

=====================================================================================
INSTALLATION:
=====================================================================================

Extract the archive into your Morrowind installation directory. The mod should
contain the following files:
.\Data Files\MWSE\lua\nc\difficulty\mod_init.lua
.\Data Files\MWSE\nc_difficulty_config.json

To configure the mod, edit the above-named json file. The config entries function
as described below:

capDifficulty: If true, difficulty will be capped from -100 to 100. Otherwise the
mod will allow you to define difficulties not normally allowed by the game. Note
that this hasn't been extensively tested, and it is suggested that it remains true.

baseDifficulty: The base difficulty to use for calculations.

increasePerLevel: This value is multiplied by [player's level - 1] and used to
modify the difficulty.

regionModifiers: This list of regions is used to configure specific regions of the
world to be easier/more difficult. For example, if a value of 20 is used for the
"West Gash Region" key, then your difficulty will be increased by 20 when in that
region.
