This mod has been pretty inconsistent for me, only sometimes reducing the cutscenes. For instance it will skip the first part of landing on Eos (approaching the planet from orbit) but not the second part (the tempest setting down in the landing zone). I dont have anything to compare it to since there are no example videos of the mod on here so maybe this is intended. Or maybe my computer is just taking awhile to load the planet
Seems like the mod is not functioning correctly with version 1.10 of the game. Will there be an update?
I had made sure that the mod is enabled via the Frosty Mod Manager. I have Andromeda on steam, so could there possibly be some incompatibility issues? As I'm not seeing some other mods working correctly neither.
Mod does work with current version of the game. I have steam version as well. EA replaced Origin so the way frosty ran isn't compatible anymore. Just need to update it and mess around with the tools setting to get it to work. Have like 30 mods enabled and they all work
Did you even try any of the mods to make sure they worked? As of the 29th of December 2021, pretty much every mod I used works, even frosty mod manager up to date works.
All of the mods this dude has copy pasted this particular sentence on has worked for me. So I dunno, check and make sure you don't have any conflicts? If it really didn't work, I wouldn't be able to use the mods either.
Just tested and confirmed mod work fine. the problem is on your end. maybe you forgot to unzip the files like many here? You are not suppose to put rar or zip into Frosty. you need to unzip them and then use the files inside only.
you keep repeating this even tho it makes no difference once u click "add mod(s)" you can select the zip file directly from the download folder there is no need to extract it the result will be the same but faster.
man i remember when i first played andromeda( this was my introduction to the franchise) on ps4 it got old really quick, the cinematic landing and take offs i mean, your a life saver lol.
you people are confusing version of the game patch, and version of FROSTY. A game is a game.. frosty is separate modding program. it is FROSTY that is telling you the mod is made with different version of program.. not the game. and it doesn't matter, its not error, just an info. once mod is made in certain frosty version it stays like that.. meanwhile, frosty can update version numbers many times in the future. doesn't mean the mod needs to be updated every time too. it will work normally in all higher versions.
and none of it has ANYTHING to do with game patch.
@Machiavegli you are not suppose to put zipped files like rar or zip into Frosty.. ever! I dont know where people get that. you need to unzip the files and than drop them in. it's basic Frosty 101. you need to use only .fbmod and .archive files
@MMaya what the f are you talking about? Frosty only has issues with 7z, both rar and zip work perfectly fine. Not only have I personally installed and used over 100 mods this way, it literally says in the Frosty description how the Mod Manager can handle rar and zip.

EDIT: The same message popped up. I will try running both .zip and .rar files to see what happens.
