Today I installed the mod and bought all pre-order boxes from Karst. Also, I have quite a few other mods installed. I recently started a NG+ game and my next quest is the proving.
Traders with boxes: 1. Karst - although the Map displays him as a merchant, I believe he is S/E of Mother's Cradle half way between two fast travel spots: Mother's Cradle and Southern Embrace Gate. 2. Merchant outside of main gate Mother's Watch 3. Merchant inside of Mother's Cradle 4. Merchant west of and inside of the Main Embrace Gate 5. Merchant, S/E of the Ancient Armory 6. Merchant at Mother's Rise 7. Merchant at Devil's Thirst Camp 8. Grist at Mother's Crown 9. Merchant at the Nora Hunting Grounds 10. Merchant at Hollow Fort/Bandit Camp
So you get the picture here; at every merchant on the map so far. I consider this an easy 60 shards every time, just from the weapons and the outfits. [This even includes Sekuli at Song's Edge.] EDIT
ALSO, when you get to the CUT and start dealing with the Banuk merchants you will need to watch out for the boxes sold for Blue Gleam as they are mixed in with the preorder boxes and to me they look close in color.

Works perfectly, maybe a little too perfect. It seems to work on every trader in the game. So you can buy them once from each trader.Tested it on every Nora trader available after waking up in the mountain.
Not really a problem, just figured I'd let you know! Might be an idea to just give the tokens or smth idk enough about modding '^^
Hey I can't get this to work for me, dropped the file in the folder and went to karst and no boxes:( I have the complete edition if that means anything, and I installed the mod at the part of the game where you're made a seeker
Nice! Now we don't have to use someone else converted PS4 starter save to get these items. :)
Offtopic(not Mod) Question:
Have you noticed or will you check if heavy smoke clouds flicker or flash? A graphical bug. I have RTX 3070 TI and Intel i9 CPU. This doesn't happen when I test the game on PS4, PS5 but is happening for me on latest steam version. However, I first noticed the issue a long time ago, so it's not new to latest patch. I am aware latest patch is still old.
The best place in the game to check is at the start of the Frozen Wilds DLC area with the Volcano smoke in the distance. The first few cutscenes at the start of DLC area are especially bad.
Another place you might notice it is at the Nora Hunting Grounds, the 1st hunting grounds in the game. Stare at the campfire smoke, to try and see it. This specific campfire delivers more smoke than most of them is why you can see it here and not at all campfires.
This is the only issue I noticed with the game on PC. Or maybe just the one thing I can't unsee lol
One last thing to note, the issue was there for me with my previous video card too, a GTX 1660 TI.
Only thing I have been able to find is this old post on Steam from 2020. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1151640/discussions/0/2943622078756219829/ It only got a few replies and not helpful to confirm the issue.
Didn't notice this issue before, will check once will be passing by these locations. Generally I'm not surprised.. HZD still got a lot of vfx and texture issues, which were not fixed by devs.
I just tested this mod with a new game save and it worked once I got to Karst :) I was a bit nervous because I still only had the 4 special items in my inventory just prior to speaking with Karst. Luckily, it didn't matter and I still got everything :)
This was 100% from scratch, like I never played the game before. I deleted the folder in my documents, removed all other mods, and verified steam files prior to starting a NG.

P.S: if you going to start NG+, try to take this boxes right after you speak to Rost on top of the mountain.
