Hey, I'm Nyzoka, the creator of this Reshade Preset. In this comment, I'll cover the common issues and offer solutions.
First off, thanks everyone for your feedback. I'm really glad my preset is getting such positive reviews and ranks among the top mods on the site. Thank you!
- Make sure you have read the installation instructions thoroughly. Most answers to questions can be found there.
- If Reshade does not appear in-game or you do not notice any difference, try to rename "dxgi.dll" to "d3d11.dll" in your client folder. - The bokey effect ("blur" effect) might occasionally blur some UI elements, which can be annoying. Press F10 to simply disable it (or enable it). Normally, this issue is now largely fixed on 1920x1080 screens. For other resolutions, use the F10 key to disable the effect, or from the Reshade menu "Home key ↖", uncheck the ‘ADOF’ effect to permanently disable it.
- Some users are concerned about using a script for installing this reshade. You can open the script's content in Notepad to check it out. No "Virus" or "Keygen" (wtf...?) is included in this script and its files. This script simplifies the "copy/paste" process for files in the "client" folder.
Most users install NeatPerfection without any issues, and unfortunately, they don't comment on their positive experiences here... So, don't hesitate to let us know in the "POST" section that everything is going great for you too! :)
I love the Preset, but I am having trouble with it making the sides of my screen black/dark almost to the point it's like a letter box. I don't know if it's where I am using an ultra-wide (3840x1080)? but based on my own trouble shooting the issue seems to be something to do with vignette but when I disable it the whole preset looks like crap.
Hii ! Oh, you just need to untick the Vignette yes, Or you can also try adjusting it, by untick the "performance mode" at the bottom right, to enter the editing mode. One of the parameters should be able to adjust the width of the effect.
Hey there, LadyElysium from below recommended this shader to me and after seeing her pictures I'm totally on board. I have a question however! I don't see any of your images labled as examples of either your WildMature or FairyDust. Am I able to download those and the primary file and just swap between them to compare or would I need to install, look, and uninstall one at a time to compare? Thanks for your time!
Hii thx you :). Actually, wild Mature and fairydust are outdated, but you can try :) primary file no needed. Humm if you want to compare, you'll need to rename the wildmature .ini for exemple.
Aha, I think I get it. Thank you! I'll try downloading one at a time and renaming their .ini to swap between/compare. The blur effect is a bit interesting, is there a way to better control what blurs based on like, what your mouse is on or any other method?
Hmm interesting for screenshot. Actually not possible with adof, but using the old MagicDof from old NeatPerfection realese, it's possible to point an element with the cursor. Maybe you 'll need to add the MagicDof settings from old .ini to the newer, and add Dof.fx to your shader folder. Good luck 😁
Hiya! Thanks so much for responding so quickly to all these messages! I had a question - How do I get the old MagicDof file? I can't download old version of this reshader, so I don't know how to get it to replace the adof. I really loved being able to control with my mouse when the background blurred because it helped me take nice screenshots, but now it'll only blur at certain distances which isn't as nice for my screenshots.
Very nice preset , what a upgrade to the game's visuals ! i removed filmgrain and vignette (personal taste ) and added an ansel freestyle brightness/contrast filter (bit lighter) and its just perfect Jawdropping attention to details , endorsed! Thank u sir 8-)
