The file you want is EMHairPonytail (pb), which replaces the pb hairstyle. The vanilla pb hair can actually be seen in my slider screenshots! Hope that helps :)
Hm! I used the dai mod manager to install. Also, a lot of hair mods only work on the highest mesh setting. Try opening your menu, then go to Options > Graphics, and set Mesh Quality to Ultra. And for some reason, the hair doesn't display correctly for me in black emporium, but does everywhere else in the game, so it's no real issue.
