I mean no offense as it's always nice to see people modding, but could you tell us what the difference is between this mod and Always Active Books? I use AAB and it seems to work fine.

Thanks, if that mod works for you, great! This was actually inspired by that mod, but I didn't like needing to configure the extra shortcuts (the person I play with uses a steam deck), so this mod activates/deactivates the book by opening the book on your toolbar. I can update the description to reflect that.
