    I loving this reshade.
But the Shader in v3 "MartysMods_LocalLaplacian" is eating ALOT of Frames ~10-15 on my 4070TiS.
    I have disabled it.
And the Border Shader is default enabled, why?

      Interesting.
I've seen no fps hit with this one that's why I've included it. I have several texture mods but texture quality is set to Medium to prevent VRAM leaks, maybe that's tied to fps drop smh.
As for Border shader - that's probably a reshade bug, it enables shaders I've used like in the case of guys below, I've double-checked it's disabled before posting an update. It's keyed to F6 btw.

I have all Settings on Max with @ UWQHD Resolution with Frame Limit 70
I have testet some scenes and enable/disabled this Shader.
Wihout the Laplacian Shader i have constant 70FPS @ ~88% GPU Load.
With the Shader i have 99% Load, which is okay, but i have only 55-70FPS.

I've made some testing again, now in the city centre on RTX4080 (undervolted, VRAM overclocked). The fps loss with LocalLaplacian shader enabled is about 4, maybe 5 fps, but it definitely affects surroundings in a good way. So yeah, if fps drop is not acceptible you can disable this one or use it in photomode exclusively.

Tbf I only discovered it recently and used it to further improve the effects granted by FakeHDR shader, mainly for its improvements to gradient distribution and tonemapping, albeit by using it ever so slightly.

When I load this preset, I get a double screen rotated 90 degrees in the middle of my screen.. Am I doing something wrong here?

Weird, probably FreezeShot shader turned itself on. Just untick it in shaders list

This preset is made with SDR range in mind, I haven't tested it with HDR enabled because of a poor HDR implementation on my particular monitor, but ofc you can tweak or disable some of the things you may consider as unnecessary in your use-case. That said, I could only achieve intended looks for the game by utilizing FakeHDR shader.

Hi, look so nice and deep. Can I use it with GITS 2.0 ?

Hi. Yes, they should be compatible as GITS is not using Reshade at all. Haven't tested it myself yet but any feedback is appreciated.

Does the fps drop a lot or not at all?

It shouldn't affect fps much after I removed DLAA antialiasing shader that I've used previously, fps hit @4k is about 3-5% max.

Does this mod have any other requirement? When i press ''Home'' button nothing happens.

No additional requirements. Just install Reshade for the game with all the shaders checked during setup, drop the file from an archive to Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 , press Home button to open Reshade overlay and select this preset in a drop-down menu on top. If you're pressing Home button and nothing happens try to reinstall Reshade.

Not sure if this mod is active, but when I bring the load up the ini nothing seems to be happening. And none of the options are selected. Am I missing something? I followed the instructions.

Which file version you've got ? 2.1 seems to work fine.

Edit: Try to completely reinstall Reshade

hey, so after a while of using your preset, the only things that i could recommend as improvements are increasing visibility in darker areas (i went from 1.06 gamma with vanilla colors down to 0.95 using your preset, which fixes crushed blacks for me, but it makes things a bit too bright outside in sunlight due to decreased gamma level) - though this might be a monitor issue and image may not be as dark on your screen as it is on mine. Other improvement would also be to make skin a bit more pale, as (again this might be monitor specific issue) skin looks really orange on my screen. Though thanks again for this reshade! :)

Thanks for feedback. It was intended to be used with gamma at default 1.0, crushed blacks might be there if you have TN screen, not VA or IPS. I might suggest to calibrate your monitor if possible or simply decrease monitor's contrast a bit. Orange skin was an irritating issue in 1st version but I reduced the effect and it looks closer to natural now (rest effect comes form warmer and more vivid colors overall but looks kinda ok as the city itself is quite bright), however it's hard to keep preset's looks if reducing thing further.

As an afterthought, try to boost sliders in DPX filter, specifically Contrast from 0.0 to 0.5 (for dark areas) and tune Strength slider in same filter a bit for lights and skin color. As I'm unable to test it on my config as it might appear a bit too bright on my side, I just tested those 2 and this method works fine.

Why is every preset causing so much stuttering for me? i can't use reshade at all, makes the game unplayable (Note that it runs smooth at 60+ fps without reshade)

What do you mean by stuttering ?
Check that your Reshade is up to date, disable unnecessary overlays etc (like running Steam+Discord+some other etc)
Also some effects might be taxing on CPU/GPU, the ones I used here are lightweight and usually cause 0 performance loss.

even installing reshade with no effects causes the game to stutter... it's like if it freezes for less than half a second then it runs again for 10 seconds, then it freezes again and so on. It's not caused by your preset, or any preset at all...

i disabled steam overlay and discord too, i don't know what could be the cause, but for now it seems to be impossible for me to use reshade

on rare occasions Shadowplay (Nvidia) overlay might cause this issue as well, you may try to disable it or turn off screen capture for a time
