Update: So I tested this for the balanced light version and it IS a good preset if you just want warmer colours, lighting, improved blacks and you're not using HDR on your display.
I did notice extra ms lag here and there on my rig which is down to Reshade pipeline so it's not for me in the end as I need 100% smooth gameplay. I am allergic to stuttering I suppose that's why I use reshade less and less. Also I use FSR a lot so that will also be messing with things.
Anyway a fun memory trip of the stuff I used to do in Reshade back in the day to restore warmer 6500k colours + proper blacks to games...
Disabled everything in the preset except the two fx + removed CAS as FSR already sharpens enough for me plus I need those extra frames :'/ If any wants it it's here: My edit of the subtle balanced preset
Running an AMD rig here so above may work differently for you
perfect, absolut game changer... I'm playing 2.0 version with all the ray tracing effects off and this reshade on at ultra quality getting around 100fps.
uhhh sorry if I didn't look hard enough but there doesn't seem to be any way to install legacy standard effects with the current ReShade installation(5.0.2). any help? thanks ^^
I had the same problem so I investigated. It turns out that Legacy Standard Effects are no longer present in the current version of reshade 5.0. Then you need to download the latest possible 4.0 version (4.9.1) which contains LSE. Link to reshade repository here: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/8ar1jhh1809cl/ReShade_Repository and look for 4.9.1
You're welcome, glad you like it. Some may need more/less sharpening to fit their resolution/settings/monitor. Also if you want to disable sharpening altogether you can disable it in reshade.

AmbientLight.fx is no longer present in Reshade and is missing from all versions i've tried. Any ideas?
Thanks
Edit the colors still look quite nice, everything working fine.
