Testing the new public beta rn and the turret revamp (from perks to grenade/ability mods) seems to have broken the "grenade mod" tab, you might wanna look into that.
I can't seem to open the mod UI. I created a folder titled "mods" with the BPLoader and this mod in it but it just won't work. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a guide on how to mod Crab Champions? Am I missing any important information?
Same, CTRL +I or U doesnt seem to do anything in game; installed and enabled through vortex, no errors; edit: no other mods installed, fresh game install via steam
I have never used vortex so I don't know if it installs properly or not. If you have used the mod before the last update, you could try to delete the old save it made. Save Location: "C:\Users\Your_User\AppData\Local\CrabChampions\Saved\SaveGames\Mods\AddPickup.sav" (Remember to replace "Your_User" with your username)
This looks very interesting and I'd like to give it a go but I'm running into an issue.
When I open the menu with CTRL+I it shows the various menu options. But I can't actually click or open any of the menus. The game keeps the mouse focus so moving the mouse around just moves the player camera. Clicking fires the weapon or zooms in. This happens when running the game in windowed mode as well as running it fullscreen.
When I press the windows key the start menu pops up and I get a mouse cursor, but as soon as I click a menu item the game takes back the focus and the menu seems to be ignored.
Am I doing something wrong? Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks!
Are you clicking the button on the top right to view them? Also the button to open the menu is (Ctrl + i) (I'm putting this here so others with the same problem don't try opening the menu with ctrl + u)
The folder doesn't have to have the "~" but it is standard to have it when modding ue4 games since it ensures that the mods get loaded after the game.
I don't know why the mods don't work for you but, you can check the following: 1. Make sure you installed the BPLoader mod. 2. Make sure the files in your ~mods folder are .pak files and not .zip files. 3. Make sure you extracted the .pak files from the .zip and didn't rename the .zip to .pak.
Try updating the mod, and if that doesn't work delete the mod's save file located at "\AppData\Local\CrabChampions\Saved\SaveGames\Mods\AddPickup.sav".
