Your load order is probably wrong. Compatibility Framework needs to be last in load order and Community Library needs to be at the beginning. These are required for subclasses to play nicely with each other.
Make sure your Script Extender is up to date.
Can I use this without Unlock Level Curve?
Yes, you just won't get the Divine Strike upgrade or The Void. It plays perfectly fine at level 12.
I made a little mod that adds some Necrotic/darkness cantrips to Clerics to complement this, if anyone is interested. If you are unable to use Script Extender/5e Spells, Lumaterian made a patch here that removes those requirements.

Hey thank you for the awesome mod! I'm curious what you would go for in terms of a "Dark Magic Assassin" build. This mod or one of your others? Any other mods to integrate as well? I think I'd probably sneak in a few levels of rogue or shadow monk too. Curious if you have suggestions, thanks!
Dose this class get extra expertise at level 1? I am unable to move past char creation or level one because when choosing skill proficiencies I have 4 choices for expertise but can only choose 2 so I'm stuck at 2/4. I do use Home Brew - Comprehensive Reworks but no other modded cleric domain is giving me this problem.
No, you just get martial weapons proficiency. I haven't touched Cleric progression at all. I would ask the author of that mod since it looks like it touches a lot of game files.
Is there any chance that Darkness Domain clerics might have had shadow meld if your Blackguard and Shadow Sorcery mods were also installed prior to the latest Blackguard rework/update? I was enjoying this on my Darkness/Gloomstalker Shadowheart, but I'm guessing it might have been a bug as I don't see this feature listed in the description.
Oh I also have your Necrotic Cantrips for Clerics mod. Either way I know my Shadowheart had it up until I updated everything related to the Blackguard update. But if this was a mistake, no worries, I think one of my other mods adds a pair of boots with shadow meld, so I can still get handy teleportation that way.

I'm having problems with crashing. Anytime I try to disarm or lockpick I crash immediately. I've taken out the other mods not needed to play the DDC but still experience the crashes. Might you have any advice? I've tried updating the UI : Didn't help any, and it appears to only DDC that could be causing the problem.

Is it meant to be that when having Dark One's Eye, the character still gets blinded by fog clouds ?
