DETAILS 

This mod changes Green-Flame Blade from 5e Spells (by Celes) to be green.

This mod is also compatible with SCAG Cantrips (by GVier) and any other mods that use these specific calls.

Projectile_GreenFlameBlade_Explosion

The installation instructions are the same regardless of which mod you choose.





INSTALLATION

All versions of this mod have been fully tested on Vortex with a new campaign using Vulkan. Other mod managers and clients may work.

Suggested installation order:

• 5e Spells or SCAG Cantrips
• Vlad's Grimoire
• Your preferred version of this mod.
  

COMPATIBILITY

This mod is compatible with mods that alter the original combat record of 5e Spells (or SCAG Cantrips). I only change the animation pointers. There are no changes to combat data. Place this mod below combat mods to ensure maximum compatibility.


TROUBLESHOOTING - GENERAL CHECKLIST

• Ensure you have the installed Requirements and you are using the correct load order.
• Ensure you are launching from Vortex (or your preferred mod manager) regardless of whether you use install as a PAK or as a loose version.
• Ensure another mod isn't overwriting my changes. Load my mod after theirs.
• If a version of my mod does not work with your existing save, try a new campaign. If this works, then that means this mod is not compatible with your save state. Lslib does have a save state cleaner, but it's unlikely to solve your issue. A new game or a different version are the main solutions.
• Leave a comment if you still cannot get it work at all. I'll respond to Bugs as best I can. Note that Vortex does tell mod page owners what files you downloaded. I'll know if you didn't install a requirement *evil laugh* but I assume this isn't 100% accurate all the time.
  

TROUBLESHOOTING - AFTER A PATCH OR HOTFIX

Read the Sticky and Bugs to see if an issue has been flagged. If not, please try the following as your first steps:

• Deactivate all of your mods in your mod manager.
• If you have any loose files installed under the Baldurs Gate 3/Data/Public folder, temporarily move those. Typically, only mod creators have to do this.
• Run the game and do a test. Make sure everything is "normal". Make a new save file - don't overwrite your old one.
• Reinstall my mods first and then run the game again to see if this fixes the issue. Test the new save. If there's still an issue, test a new game.
• If one of those works, you can then proceed with loading other mods (and loose files) and test to see if there are any further issues.
• The end goal is to be able to play your old save with as many of your original mods installed as possible. If you have to continue your game without a previously installed mod, be aware that it could cause a myriad of issues down the line. Proceed with caution!
