Unofficial 1.3 Patch not required.
WARNING: Incompatibilities with other mods is likely, specifically BF1 map conversions and mods that add new hero assaults - Marvel4's and Calrissian/DarthSiths maps should be fine.
Some minor differences (Such as less Heroes on Coruscant) are present due to limitation differences between Xbox and PC. (Xbox has higher slot count for anims and heroes.)
Hero roster differs between maps like on Xbox - it is unknown why Pandemic did this, whether it was memory issues on the Xbox or for balance reasons, whatever - it has been recreated here.
In order for this to work, the Heroes had to be modified since both the DLC heroes were beyond the set limitations for the PC version of SWBF2 (That was why Xbox got the title update, to increase the engine limits for the upcoming Heroes).
The maps were directly ported from PC using a special tool developed by SleepKiller that converts the Xbox compressed .lvl files to PC.
I have included the DLC Heroes on Hero Assault and on maps where they are loaded together you instead get a heavily modified version of the heroes whose primary move set is completely different however keeps their new secondary powers. On maps where they are loaded alone however you get the real deal.
The new Hero Assaults are compatible with HarrisonFog's Remaster mod, which was something I went out of way to do - so you can thank me for that.

Oh man, I just can't praise you Guys enough for this. I wanted to play these maps the way they appeared in the Xbox DLC for so long and now it's possible. I appreciate these little touches, such as the small file size, the fact that the additional modes DO NOT require the 1.3 patch (if anyone's concerned by this) and how these maps blend so well with stock maps on the instant action map list. The maps themselves are spot on and I definitely recommend getting these.
¿What is the difference between this maps and those from Marvel4?
All the maps look completly different from BF1 Youtu.be take a look at the video or dl for yourself the latter is recommended the maps come stright from the xbox version unedited

This version has Kit Fistos lightsaber more accurate to the DLC version, and his force bubble uses the correct sounds.
For map differences ->
This one has broken stained glass windows and more fire braziers on Rhen Var: Citadel (accurate to original DLC).
Yavin 4 Arena has several statues/fire braziers true to the DLC where Marvel4 version doesn't.
Bespin has more steam in carbon freezing chamber true to the DLC
This one also has hero assault modes with Kit Fisto and Asaaj Ventress on the added maps as well as adding hero assault on Kashyyyk, Coruscant, Naboo, and Mygeeto (and you can play as Fisto and Asaaj on those modes)

Great work, could you post some sort of tut on gametoast about how you actually went about converting kit and asajj and getting them to work the way they do on these maps?
gametoast mainly moved to a discord server, I will not be telling people how to convert kit and asajj since the resources are already on the gametoast forums.
However I have released my scripts to the GT server for usage in era mods and such.
There are mods out there which have the original animations for asajj ventress and kit fisto. maybe you could try to implement those mechanics? anyway, great stuff, the remastered bf1 maps look fantastic! there are some minor bugs in the instant action menu, where Rhen Var Harbor and Yavin 4 Arena just show up as blanks (they are still fully playable)
As far as I'm concerned, Assajj's and Kit's animations were replaced on purpose here, because of the limitations of the PC version of SWBF2. In the original Xbox DLC in the Hero Assault mode you had them both available, whereas the PC version basically doesn't allow to have both of them with their animations available at the same time. That's why Marvel4's Conversion Pack didn't have them playable in Hero Assault, and the older SWBF1 Conversion Pack had Kit use his animations And Assajj use Aayla's animations. I may have got something twisted here, but that's how I think it was explained by the author of the mod.
Thats strange tho, why wouldn't it be possible to have both set of animations available at the same time? Is it impossible to mod the pc version in a way that allows that?
I'm not an expert here, but if I understood correctly what one of the authors had said, there's a limit of animations that can be used at the same time in SWBF2. The Xbox DLC apparently came with a patch which made that limit less strict. Whether this can be done with the PC version is a question to the authors of the mod, but I assume they must have had a reason to implement these characters this way.
Essentially the PC engine for BF2 has set requirements for things such as cloth, particles, tentacles, animations and combos. The Xbox engine was updated via the Title Update to raise the limits. Without the source code to the game we cannot replicate the changes, meaning only 1 of the DLC heroes at a time (when also loaded with only 1 other normal hero) can have a almost complete version of their xbox movesets. I have updated the mod today to improve DLC hero usage by randomly choosing one to have their Xbox animations when they are both loaded onto a map that isn't running Hero Assault (Such as Harbor).

sorry if this sounds stupid I'm new to modding but the directions say to put DLC_XBOX and UPDATE_XBOX in the addon folder but when I hit the download button all I get for files is ADDON_XBOX.5. how do I get the files necessary for this mod? Thanks!
You have to download that file, then extract it with a file extractor such as winrar, 7zip or even winzip. Don't know if this comment even helps being so late, but maybe it will.
Also these arnt exactly Remastred these maps are exact 1/1 from the xbox version of DLC
The xbox version maps WERE remastered versions of the orginals bf1 maps
Oh man, these maps are great o.o I've experienced only a couple oddities: there's no map description for Rhen Var (Citadel) and, if you set a timer for conquest maps, no timer appears on Bespin GCW conquest. Btw, do you have a discord server? Might be easier to discuss these sorta things there

I really love this mod, I really liked the addition of the hero assault mode in Corouscant and the new maps, this rescues a classic, by the way there is a bug where there are no sounds in Kashyyyk, especially the light sabers
I beleive this mod causes some visual issues on other maps, or it might be the Anakin's Remaster mod. Currently just this mod and Anakin's Remaster are installed, and on maps such as jabba's palace and yavin 4 it looks as if there's a massive reflection throughout the entire map, not connected to any geometry. I took some screenshots if you'd like to look into it.

I found a bug on the Yavin 4 Arena map. When I have lighting on high, the entire map behaves as if something is generating a huge shadow over it and everything is black and brown. Besides, in other maps there are no shadows at all and everything looks so flat.
when I hit the download button all I get is ADDON_XBOX 5 and the directions say to put DLC_XBOX and UPDATE_XBOX in the addon folder but I don't get those files when I download. sorry if this sound stupid but I just want to know how to get the right files

Can u add Count Dooku's Theme to Ventress since she has his theme on the actual Xbox DLC? Dooku is extremely underused in this game so u never get to hear it. Being themeless is so meh. Fisto has Mundi's theme so thnx for that at least

Only thing I can think that might cause that is you need the unofficial 1.3 patch.
From my experience, this is related to the outdated "offline installer" version of the game on GoG.
It does not happen on an updated Steam version (and likely doesn't on the updated GoG version).
