The way stalker is meant to be played. I would however highly recommend playing the first three games to understand everything happening. I picked up all three on steam for like 5 USD during a sale
Anomaly is one of the best mods in the stalker community. You could even argue that it has enough content to warrant being it's own game. What few flaws I have found can be easily modded out to create a truly tailored modern stalker experience.

man idont need tarkov ,why need tarkov when theres anomaly huh,i will say 1000/10 i have a thousand of thousands of hours of play. even on my 10$ pc it works well.(with some lags but dont mind). great great game and forever STALKER.

best game ever, endless replayability, many mods, great atmosphere, interesting backstory, avction, exploration and horror in a perfect combination. whats spawns where and how NPCs act are varying without begin totally random, makes it you always wonder whats behind the next corner.
