Barry's Better Knives is a Knife Reanimation & Rebalance.
DLTX & 1.5.2 REQUIRED
This mod is a complete reanimation of the knives for anomaly, includes:
Draw
Holster
Walk
Sprint
Idle
Inspect
3 Light Attack Variants
1 Heavy Attack Variant
Transition Poses
All knives deal more damage by default & can break boxes in one swing but degrade faster requiring you to sharpen them more often.
This is a work in progress mod that I will update with new animations as I improve them over time.

на мой взгляд анимации не серьёзные, ну не сочетается такая понтовая анимация подкидывания и подхвата ножа в воздухе, не спорю, выглядит очень круто, но не нравится, хочется более реалистичных анимаций, очень странно что анимациями ножей никто не занимается, были бы анимации как в Insurgency, или у боевого ножа в КСГО, было бы круто.
в то время мне просто хотелось сделать что-нибудь броское, я уверен, что в будущем кто-нибудь другой сделает что-нибудь более серьезное.

youre playing with mods that use a fixed hud fov but your in-game set fov doesnt match its value so its force changing your fov when you pull out or put stuff away.
I don't know if it's a problem:
You have the knife in your hands, if you skin the mutant with the FDDA addon animations, first he puts the knife away with Barry's animations and then takes the knife again and skins the mutant with the FDDA animations.

It doesn't work now in 2024. I couldn't manage to make it work. I'm loading through MO2 it shows it's loaded correctly but animation nor any values of knives changes.
Could you do a patch for 4:3 resolutions? I've tried using the weapon hud editor to copy the values to my ltx files, but it doesnt work. Its all misalugned and zoomed in.
