This is my repack for shadows addon (includes english translation). I used noah's_yacht translation. The mod is standalone so please do not extract it into your Shadow of Chernobyl folder!

Throwing a single bolt creates one in your inventory that crashes the game upon clicking it...

And I'm not sure if the game is intended to be played with Static Lighting on with this mod installed, but playing it with any other Render settings than the one mentioned causes also a crash.

Hello, for the shaders crash, put this in the R2 folder : Drive.google.com . I'll find a fix for the bolt.

Hello. I really like this weapon pack, doesn't look out of place among the vanilla weapons and has quality put to them. However, I'm getting so much crashes the game is very tedious to play as I got to X16. Here are some crashes I've ran into:

- Totally random, low freq, in Cordon (gamedata\scripts\_g.script:22: bad argument #2 to 'format' (string expected, got no value))
- Entering X16 due to missing karlik.omf file (fixed myself by extracting karlik_animations from the gamedata files and renaming it)
- Karlik spawns after picking up 2nd code in X16 (E:\stalker\sources\trunk\xr_3da\xrGame\PHCaptureInit.cpp
, wrong capture bone)
- Downloading the report from the Military Blockpost (Can't open section 'af_compas')
- Speaking to Snitch in Bar (scripts\bar_dialogs.script:460: attempt to index)

And the most frequent and random crashes that occur even after like <5 mins of gameplay:
- scripts\sa_callbacks.script:223: C stack overflow
- LUA error: C stack overflow

Here the karlik.omf : Drive.google.com, but you can also remove the karlik files in the meshes folder.
The files for the artifact crash : Drive.google.com.
For the random problem in Cordon, i'm not sure it will work, but try to remove the "wpn_hands" line in the trader file.
For Snitch, the bar_dialogs file i modified is not essential, so you can remove it, you should be fine. Just tell me. I just tried to talk to him and it was fine, when did the crash happen ?

Thank you.. after removing the bar_dialogs I can speak to Snitch fine. Before, the game crashed just as I pressed F on him, and that was right as I had to go to take X16 docs to Yantar.
Btw, I ran into an another crash in Garbage, took the Barman's Bandit camp elimination, and as soon I reach their spawn range (Camp #2 near Vehicle graveyard), after a second I get either:
scripts\sa_callbacks.script:223
scripts\xr_motivator.script:157: attempt to index global 'sr_territory' (a nil value)
I'm sorry if I'm flooding you with too much reports, but I didn't had these issues when playing sole Shadows Addon 0.8.9.

No problem, i need these feedbacks to fix the repack. Is it OK with the compass artifact ?
I'll check the Garbage, it may be linked to some modifications in the a-life or simply the xr_motivator file in an addon i'm using.
Regarding the crash with Snitch, i made only one modification to the script file, a new weapon as a reward, i guess it was the problem.

I modified the "gulag_garbage.script" in the repack, it may be the problem. Try to delete the file, it should reverse to original one, and tell me if it works.

That did it, thanks. And the report (tied to Compass) from the military blockpost's laptop is also fixed now. Other than that, the sa_callbacks still persist. Should I start a new game with your new whole updated pack?

This one is tricky. The new upload is not meant to fix it, it's only some new stuff, anomaly neutralizer, some weapons... and also some fixes for the bugs that you mentioned. I'll check this specific bug tomorrow (in my country). Maybe it's linked to the models i added, they come from OLR 3.0. You can make a simple test by removing the new npc models in the meshes folder.

By the way, are you on discord (C-Consciousness) ?

It's all good. I will keep you posted. Though, either way I tried playing the new upload and I get a "bind_stalker.script:253: attempt to index global 'weather_control' (a nil value)" right as I start in Toad's bunker. I still have the previous mod version stored in case.
And no, I'm not there. If we need to speak, could we move to DMs, please?

the grenade your crashes are refering to are supposed to be in this gamedata, i don't understand how they "came out". my gamedata is just fine, so i may have made a mistake in my upload.

the patch i'm talking about is in the description.

EDIT : i just checked the main gamedata and the files are here.
i just reuploaded it on moddb, just in case it was the wrong one. you can check.

I didnt download patch >.< sorry, thanks for all your help. What do the options in the folder in the guns extension? And what are thre recommended graphics settings, DX10 doesnt work for me if i exit to windows, game hangs on startup and have delete user.ltx to get it to run again.
