hey umm so i got a little problem here. like the others here i got crashed when entering rostok and pretty much can't progress from here. anyway i think the problem is with my soc version? (1.0006) if so is there a way for me to downgrade my soc? thx :d
I recommend everyone to use GOG version for mods. Also, these crashes can be due to unreadable characters in the Windows profile name. You can send me your save in a private message and I'll help you get through this part of the game.
P.S. I would also be grateful if I could see the log of this error.
what about other mod compatability eg animations for medkits and eating and drinking? thanks
Are these additional animations so important in this mod? Especially since thirst has already been added here as an additional element of the gameplay.
Also, is there anything I can do about forced fov on some weapons? and ai seems a bit stupid not noticing me and i find the player and npcs can be very bullet spongy like original SoC.

Yes, fov and hud_fov can be changed in the «user.ltx» file. But changing fov leads to different graphical visual problems. I don't recommend doing this. And here these bots are much smarter than in the original game. Some tasks can be completed in a stealth style.
