Here is the impressive music from PsychoPhobia made by our supporter and friend John S Weekley.
This is a DoomStarter I wrote last summer. The entries in the config-files must be adjusted to your Port and Wad loactions. I planned to release it with...
This is a not complete version of 3d monsters for PsychoPhobia. We have more 3d monsters, but some of them are from Doom3. This package does not include...
This is a package of HiResTextures for PsychoPhobia. It is not finished yet.
This is PsychoPhobia Version 2.25. It contains Episode 1 & 2, The Pit, and ZBloodpack. Changelog can be found on our homepage and inside the package...
This is PsychoPhobiaCM (Contend Mod) Version 2.04. This is the last zdoom compatible veriosn without 3d stuff.
First Doom mod I ever played and it will always be one of my favorites. I'm currently editing some of the files to make it run smoother and less jank on newer versions of GZDoom.
It involves adding a lot of +DONTTHRUST actor properties to just about every Decorate in the mod Through SLADE. Otherwise your weapons will cause trees and such to slide around the map.
I also added a Zoom function for the MA51 Assault Rifle. I tried to add a custom image of a scope overlay while zoomed in, but due to Psychophobia utilizing 3D assets for weapons and such, it's beyond my meager skill level.
Still, I suggest anyone looking to experience Psychophobia anew, to include the Actor properties fix and try and make it play with as many fun mods as you like!
I stick to immersion enhancing mods like DarkDoom and Immerse.
As always, thanks for the awesome mod, Cobalt and Butcher!
Hey Guys. You should know why the project was stopped. The main problem was the size to which it grew. The 3d-Models and the HiRes Textures was the last nail in the coffin. We thought about how to save it for a long time. And we came to the conclusion that we had to go back to the 2d sprites. But that would be so incredibly much work that we couldn't handle it. That is why the project has come to a standstill and it is uncertain whether we will ever find the time to continue it. In the unlikely event that it should be continued one day, the HiRes textures and most of the 3d models would definitely be removed or no longer supported.
The biggest problem of all is that we don't have that much time left. And when there is time, we prefer to use it to relax from work and spend with the family.
I sure miss you guys and your mod for this. I am wishing for the best of all of you who made this amazing game. Thank you so much.
I don't get that. A decade or more ago, sure, if someone cried about the size of the mod, I get it. But now look at the size of modern hard drives! If you have quality stuff to throw in, why hold back? If people love Total Chaos, they'll love this too. Maybe not everyone, but it's not like you get paid for this...you don't need to maximize sales over quality.
Dude, this is one of my favorite mods of all time! It changed my childhood, haha, and made me want to make my own mod, which i am making right now! I love your mod dudes, even if yall didn't finish it! GG Ty for the good times, I hope you guys see this!
i hope one day the modders back to work in this mod 10 years waiting for the episode 3 :(

You should use the 3d player model from the survival doom tech demmo its not as chunky ๐๐๐
It does not work, it needs several other wads. Its too difficult to run it
The project is dead? I hope not because the mod is so good.
