Welcome To 682Mod, an old Garry's Mod experience.
682Mod 9 and up is a continuation mod of GMod 12, while 682Mod 8 and under is a standalone Source 2013 mod.
This is basically just a mod to give you an older Garry's Mod nostalgia trip. If you enjoy the mod and want to play more of it, great, but of course make sure to give credit where it's due, because obviously most of this mod was originally developed by Garry and his team at Facepunch.
Of course, you're free to make content for this mod, or use GMod 12 addons with this mod. I'll try to gather up a bunch of addons from the Toybox and put them in an archive here.

682Mod 10 is out now. I've added a few Garry's Mod 12 Toybox maps to the base game under the new "Historic GMod Maps" section
Additions
I added 4 GMod 12 Toybox maps, aswell as a new default sandbox map in the Sandbox section.
Removal
I removed 682m_assemble, as it's a relic of a time when I was just getting into modding and mapping. the other sandbox maps won't be removed, but will be reworked to fit in with the style of the new 682m_complex.

ok, lookin at the revies there's like one guy that just goes around any sandbox mod he sees, dosent even check it, gives a negative review, and just says stuff like "where there is absolutely nothing except the physical gun from the HL2 code and the VQUI menu from Hds46." like this was in any way related to this mod, he didnt even read the description, like lookin at the newest post, it isnt just that, too bad moddb dosent have a way to reply to reviews, and one of the mods he mentioned to play instead was jbmod, and some other sourcemod that isnt even a sandbox from what it seems? like what? tell someone who would want to play a sandbox, to not play a sandbox, or play like the most uninteresting sandbox, that uses the physgun from the hl2 code, and dosent even have a spawn menu, even if it would be the hds46's one, it would be better than some stupid panels on one map that arent even labled, also keep up the good work with your garry's mod 12 sandbox, it seems your doin great, havent been able to check it out since i dont have the 2007 sdk, id update the description of the mod btw, man why the hell am i typing so much, i really should try to type less

thanks man! i appreciate this comment a lot ngl, since the whole point of my mod has changed and most people's criticisms dont really seem to apply after version 8 which was basically a separate HL2 mod. you talking about that like "nugget" guy or whatever his name is? because yeah, he literally comments on every source engine sandbox mod. its basically his whole thing to just hate on people that are doing what they enjoy.
edit: nvm i realized youre talking about lastzlo. what i said about nugget guy still applies to him aswell though
hey, guess what, TheLocalMoon (Alter source dev) actually just added a nuke bot to a discord server of another ****** sandbox mod called rmod, like what the ****, oh and he also like hacked the moddb page some time ago with some other dude, so thats an reason to not play alter source, the dev's a ****** idiot, this just went down like probably today, so like a warning for like later, dont trust this dude if he ever like says smth to you, thats some real ****** up **** to be real

Hey! do you have Source SDK 2007 installed and do you own Garry's Mod? if you don't have SDK 2007 installed or dont own Garry's Mod, this mod wont work.
I've noticed a lot of Sandbox mods since Jay's Mod made a comeback. not sure if we really need them if I'm being honest.

Personally, I made my sandbox mod as a simple hobby and to improve my skills for creating a mod in the future that is decent. To be honest, when I created it, I didn't even know about JBMod.

A Source engine sandbox mod... so very innovative.
its just a little project so i can learn a bit about game and mod development. also kind of a tribute to gmod.
