Nope, the anglo saxons still used viking or thegn style helmets with cheek protections. Some of the troops in the screenshots are also in fact thegn themselves.
like yes they used viking helmets, and "thegn style helmets" but i can clearly see Valsgard 8, that is from second half of 6th century, and coppergate helmet that is from 8th century. Would not it be better to make saxons like normans without painted helmets, with more riveted helmets, with shorter chainmails and with replacement of heometrical form in heraldic with more animalistic? such imagination of saxon would be good for viking conquest or brytenwalda, but not for very end of viking era
