I upload various mods to ModDB, so that they may gain some attention. If anyone needs any help with their profile pages send me a PM.

My best addon/mod is Dark Doom Creatures, as well as Shut Up and Bleed: Zombie Edition.

I'm the author of three books. The Way of the Sith, The Way of the Sith Part 2: World Mastery, and The Way of the Sith Part 3: Doctrine of Action and Hierarchy. I'm currently working on Individual Power book series.

Official website of the book The Way of the Sith, get the book on Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Xlibris, Fishpond, Booktopia or Kobo.

Edwin Ferreira releases ‘The Way of the Sith: World Mastery’

Grab real world mundane power, gain formal power in whatever shape or form you desire with this manual on breaking the self–limitations imposed upon you by society, family, religion or culture

PERTH, Australia – In his first book titled “The Way of the Sith,” Edwin Ferreira attempt to delineate paths towards power over the self, which must begin before one can gain power in the world at large. He now releases its follow- up “The Way of the Sith: World Mastery” (published by Xlibris AU), the second in a series of books which aims to build up a vast network of like-minded people by explaining what it takes to create a storm of strength and power.

Ferreira believes that to be able to properly compel others and to form influence in the world, they need to be able to master themselves. Only through self-control, ideology, metaphysics, inner alchemy, warrior ethos, traits, potency traits and other components can they receive the power to become ruler over the self and become a leader. For him, not everyone is entirely suited to this task but anyone can try. He noted that as Sith, people intend to gain greater confidence, respect and direction over their external reality. They seek out self-perfection through the work and teachings of those who master the self, to have character, happiness, respect and freedom. For Ferreira, self-perfection like control, attaining exaltation and elevating oneself, the furtherance of respect and self-honor can only through the guidance and teachings of this world mastery book.

“The world as it stands needs a soul, a spirit and a will to enact its many plans and goals, and that is what the dark side offers them. It offers them a cause to rally behind that supports their tendencies for power and strength, while reliably eschewing anything that makes the debased conformity and conditioning of decadence, anti-personality, degeneracy, enfeebled people, apathy and weakness of current comfortable all too easy answers offered by the current society. We are looking to create a new age where such limitations are of the past,” Ferreira says.

When asked what he wants readers to take away from the book, Ferreira answered, “To understand the current reality and help provide additional tools like traits, potency traits, warrior ethos or metaphysics to bend reality to our will in our own lives, which is essential to doing it in the world at large. I go into the ways of the Sith on specific topics and deep into my own personal and political power philosophy.”

About the Author

Edwin Ferreira is a graduate of Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Criminology and Security, Terrorism and Counterterrorism. He has spent his life searching for a philosophy that can grant him the courage, heroism, passion for truth, interest in natural law as well as an ideology that can bring about the best out of him that he possibly can accomplish, to give the very best that he can. A philosophy that if applied well can allow him to achieve past his past known limitations. Whether somebody out there can possibly achieve something, then it can be achieved, past the limitations whether they be nurture or nature to accomplish anything if it is possible.

I properly credit the creators for what they released. Giving the mod more avenues to gain attention.
And if anything where to happen to Nexus, mods needs other sites to keep them alive.
If Nexus went down and some helpful community members upload them elsewhere, some mods would end up being lost regardless. Like what happened with FilePlanet. It's all fun and games until the **** hits the fan. It could happen 3-5 years from now when most people who love the game have moved on.

Anyways I will respect a author's decision. So there is no need to give me hateful comments.

There is very much a need for that, you didn't ask to redist my stuff and you're not alowed to.

I sure you havn't asked other mod creators for permissions either.

Thank you for uploading these old, mostly forgotten mods. I for one am glad someone did.

With many of the old sites that listed them dead and gone, mod authors moved on to other things, these mods would be doomed to digital oblivion.

I don't really understand all the hate. Do people want these mods to vanish? PlanetPhillip is an awesome site which I frequently visit, but isn't more exposure for these old mods a good thing? Who is really being harmed here?

It's not the mid-late 90's or early '00's any more. More and more mod authors are wanting to control their work vs share it. It's the way these kids have grown up: the game companies cracked down on modding for various reasons, all the modders now know is that wanting people to see your work is less important then a portfolio piece.

Authors have a right on the distribution of assets and licensing, it causes legal issues if assets have been licenced for specific release or on specific sites, we will always work with developers and members to ensure the best for their hard work.

Please stop posting regarding mods this user has submitted, he was trying to share great mods, we the site staff are aware of the complaints and are working with TheUnbeholden to ensure mod developers wishes are followed.
Any complaints need to be forwarded to the site staff and not left here in the comments section. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Fair enough, but I believe you should be working with him to enforce site rules. He is ( present tense ) breaking the sites terms of use not just with Skyrim mods ..
Moddb.com

2. Use and ownership of user provided content
2; and you must ensure that you are the owner or creator of that content or have received permission from the owner or creator to make such submissions and to licence that content as set out in this clause 2.

You may want to have a look at his Fallout mods too. And lord knows what else.

Some of those authors may no longer be around / aware to contest them, doesn't make it right though does it ?

TheUnBeholden, with hand on heart, you should be pruning what you know breaks the site rules.

More importantly, if the site rules are being enforced properly, people should have no need to take time out of their lives to chase your actions which they did not warrant.

Thank you for listening.

Thank you for dealing with his uploads. I hope he realises his mistake and respects authors' wishes now.

I find it funny how some people take re-distribution of mods seriously. So long as they're being credited properly I see no problem. It's not like half of the mods that he's uploaded are developed on custom engines from scratch. The mods are built on the Source engine (mostly) and therefore can't be copyrighted by their authors unless the authors are paying royalties to Valve to copyright one of their mods and therefore sale it (if they wished). In other words they need the Source Engine License otherwise it's not like they could tell Google to remove their mod from another site. It's simply an act of good will to respect the author's wish.

Half of these people here aren't even the authors of the mods they're complaining about. I find this white-knighting ridiculous. As TheUnbeholden said: the authors themselves (if they have a problem with it) can tell him to remove them.

I myself have no problems with my mods being re-distributed elsewhere. They already have and with credit. It brings more downloads, attracts a wider audience (particularly those who don't visit Moddb) and ensures that the mods will remain if one site or another goes down.

Unless the mod author has downright stated that they don't wish for their work to be redistributed then they're up for redistribution. Although TheUnbeholden (if he wished) could still redistribute mods where the author has expressed their desire for them not to be re-uploaded elsewhere as there's no law preventing this.

Either way he takes no credit for any mod he uploads and doesn't do it out of malice so in my personal opinion (note: opinion, so don't jump down my throat) he's not doing anything wrong.

There's also a difference between art created by someone drawing and painting to a mod developed on an engine BELONGING to someone else. Technically all mods developed on the Source engine belong to Valve (hence why you need a license from them to sell a mod. Until then, it's not your IP).
