GLA Assault and Stealth used to have just the Stinger Site instead in past versions but they were replaced for two reasons:
- Stinger soldiers were very vulnerable to anti-infantry weapons.
- Stinger soldiers' damage type was not effective vs. all targets. If it was, there would have been a design flaw.

Maybe we will make some unique defenses in the future for more variety.

1) Emitter upgrade was silly as it made missile weapons effective vs. all targets, reducing skill requirements. Pathfinders are enough in this case and the general doesn't need this upgrade at rank 3 to play well.
2) Solar panels (and Tokamak) are removed from Laser general because his tanks do not require power anymore. Tokamak is now available for Super Weapons general and the base power it provides is enough. Power remains a resource to protect with the absence of Solar panels which is good for balance. Bunker busters was a useless upgrade in Contra.
3) Not a priority.
4) Most likely not.
5) We will think about it. Path selection is at rank 3 but Phobos is a rank 1 unit. That would have to change in that case. We did not quite like the walker variant in the past.
6) Permanent stealth allowed players to stack up many comanches and constantly attack unprotected zones. It was a common sight in team games and very annoying to deal with. If stealth comanches return, they will lose stealth when moving most probably.
7) We'll see.

Straight-flow upgrade bug is tracked and will be fixed. I know the reason.

The weapon upgrade provided works as an active ability with cooldown, not a global upgrade. The player marks a group of units to upgrade.

Bots (AI) can cause the game to crash. That's probably what you are experiencing. Challenge mode missions and multiplayer PvP games are less prone to crash.

That would cause collision issues with terrain and other structures unless the structure geometry is expanded but that is not preferred. We actually downscaled the building size because it was too large.

That would mean that we've set a deadline and we consider that unnecessary. We are not happy with the current state of the mod just yet and we have new ideas we want to implement.

We would like to but it is a hard and time consuming task. The more collaborators we get - the bigger the chances are to complete and release Campaign mode sooner. In the current state we cannot confirm.

There will be difficulty fixes in the final version. It is normal to experience inconsistencies and issues in a Beta version.

Futuristic path seems to deal fine without a designated artillery vehicle as Centurion does have some artillery-like weapon characteristics and can threaten tank hordes. Volt ranger and Valanx will most likely have weapon changes. Missile Defender's weapon shares default weapon stats because of balance when occupied in Valanx. That's all for now. New ideas may be tested in the future.

We are aware of role duplication and most likely we will remove Ambulance. The reason it was added was because we liked the idea of her having an infantry healing vehicle. ARV unit doesn't fit even though it solves the duplication issue. We'll see.

That means it was limited by low performance. Game speed is tied to FPS sadly.

No easy way. You have to extract all challenge maps and edit FPS Control scripts but that's going to be hard to explain step by step. Also game speed won't be constant as it's hard to have steady FPS at all times.

FPS in solo games (Skirmish and Challenge) is tied to game speed. You can use the clock shortcut button in Challenge to change the game speed.
