Happy 20th anniversary C&C, despite the lack of recently released games in the series, the magnificent fanbase and modders keep the games alive with fresh content.
Hopefully we hear something new and exciting soon.
So what is the state of the C&C Community? I noticed activity has really died off since the cancellation of Generals 2. Or maybe its just me.
On a side note. TDR 1.4 will be returning as a full version as v1.3 was with important fixes soon.
Well, it is frustrating that we have absolutely zero information concerning EA's plans for C&C. We know nothing, nothing happens here. Even a little piece of information could spark the community.
To the side note, I can't wait for the full 1.4 :D
I don't have high hopes for anything EA could do with C&C. I think that we, the community, are the only ones that can keep C&C alive.
The only hope now lies in modder's hand, as the community itself will carry the legacy of true C&C, not EA.

Hopefully one day in the future the OpenRA engine project will have progressed all the way up until 3D graphics, and from there we will begin to create our own C&C games, despite each of us slowly moving around with an baston and sporting greybeards, but most importantly EA WILL NOT BE INVITED! (<which makes all totally worth it i say)
