BioWare's finally started to show what they have been doing these years
Since 2014 when Dragon Age 3 got released all of the fans that have been playing this game over and over again have been curious about what will be next and got scared when people going around saying that Dragon Age: Inquisition's was supposed to be the last one since there was no more info about a new game for years before an official teaser trailer came out in 2018 from DA Team on YouTube.
Spoilers: At the end of Dragon Age 3 when you finally find Solas he will tell you that he is "Fen'Harel" the gods from that time gave Solas that name when he becomes their friend and was one before he betrayed by sealing them away since Solas at that time and still believe today that they are false gods.
When it comes to Fen'Harel he is also known to be called "The Dread Wolf" He who hunts alone. Since Soles normally don't trust anyone before someone can prove it's wrong. So the main mission for Soles right now is to save all the elves even if he has to kill everyone in his way. This is the main part every fans out there is expecting to be the main story part of the next Dragon Age game.
If you walk around in the early Dragon Age games you could find statues of Fen'Harel looking like a wolf found at a Dalish campsite. Is just in the newest game of the DA you would find out the truth who he really is.
From the teaser trailer image, you can see a huge dark wolf on the right side, Solas on the left side, and what you see in the center is an artifact from Dragon age 2 and is a red lyrium idol that you can find in the start of the game when you go in the deep roads with Varric / Now when it comes to the teaser trailer you can watch it below here.
What can we expect in the next upcoming Dragon Age game?
Now BioWare has said that they want to take the game to the next step that they will use new generation technology to bring the next Dragon Age game to life and have also made a video to show a few things they are working on when it comes to new characters, art, effects, animations, and stories.
They haven't said anything what the main story is going to be about yet, but they want to make more story about all the people, friends, and family you are going to be interacting with, so with an idea like that will make the game last longer, and who don't like a game you can't complete right away?
And even if you complete the game you can still play it once more with new choices like the previous DA game has offered. Now EA has said that Dragon Age 4 won't be coming until April 2022 at the earliest that you can read more about right here on Gamesradar.com
After playing all of the Dragon age games myself I already believe they will give more than what one can expect. For me, the DA game is based on the story that you can change anytime you want by the choices you make if you want to save, spare, kill, or avoid things that cames your way.

Well, I'm not buying this game because it's a point and click rpg and not an "action rpg" at all like I was led to believe.
I mean they made the trailer look so awesome but the gameplay is nothing like it! Thats marketing for you. At least maybe when it's like 20 bucks I might get it for kicks.
They said this game had real-time combat but I think that realtime combat is like oblivion, not click on an enemy and watch your guy attack.
There seems to be some confusion about these combat labeling systems.
I'm sure many people will love this game I am just wishing for another rpg that let's me parry and strike each attack when I want, now THAT is what "real-time" means, yes JUST LIKE OBLIVION which I think was one of the best games I have ever played, like Fallout 3 and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games!
Well, u should check out mount & blade
however, this is like everyone else has already stated an RTS styled RPG game, not hack n slash like diablo or titans quest.
Oblivion was "casual"? really? I mean what could be more casual then click on an enemy and watch your guy "auto-attack", I mean thats plain lazy! HA
If this game had everything it does PLUS REAL realtime combat then it would have been an epic game.
Have you gotten inside of the game?
It's purely about Strategy and Tactics.
Oblivion was Casual and alway's will be.
You just lack the knowledge of D&D style game's, this is why it put's you off.
Personally I never liked Oblivion or Fallout 3, I find them to easy and very boring.
I'm playing through Titan Quest and though it's ok I dont like the point and click to move and click on enemy to attack. It's boring.
Sure the story is ok and I love the inventory and character building but if dragon age movement and combat is like that then it just lacks any real connection to the player.
With respect to the "old school" rpg players, really that style of gameplay is from when computers couldnt handle more then a simple point on something and let the cpu go. With todays PC's that can navigate a space shuttle, I expect more from a game, like realtime viseral engaging combat AND leveling, inventory and story. I should be able to move my character and swing my weapon at my will, not to the calculations of a cpu's. Good luck to all, hope you enjoy your game today.
Titan quest is no where near the same as Dragon Age.
Titan quest is a Diablo style game, if you will.
You look like a fool, have you even bothered playing the game further than a few steps?
Have you tried getting through the game?
Probably not because your mind cannot handle all the event's that are going on. Beside's if Dragon Age was anything like Oblivion I'd be tossing it aside.
There are reason's this game is getting load's of 9/10 and 10/10 rating's.
Oh and way to go on lying about your age, if you are going to lie about it then why even be here. If you are truly indeed 40 then I feel sad for you.
Do you even know what a D&D style game is? People still play D&D and there certainly is a reason.
And why God does everytime I simply make a comment about a game do I get some freakin retard game fanboy insulting me? It's just a GAME, do you really feel the need to personally insult people because of thier opinions?
Hypocritical if you ask me.
You are sitting here insulting me but yet you complain about me insulting you.
Not once did I insult you, pinhead. And I'm lucky to be 40, keep it up with insulting people the way you do and you won't make it to my age when you cross the wrong person with your wiseass mouth.
I played D&D with modules, dice the whole nine when I was a kid and if the original creators of role playing games could have made them more like oblivion with realtime combat they would have, at least thats what I would have wanted to see "when I grew up".
If anyone's lacking knowledge, it's you and your ability to converse with another human being.
"I never insulted you!"
"...wiseass" *blah blah blah, more insult's, blah blah blah, I never insulted you, blah blah, insult, blah blah, gibberish, i'm 40 with no job and am a hypocritical fanboy, blah blah*
Yes I am a fanboy of a great game, Boohoo.
Just shut it you waste, your going in circles now.
And get a job too.
I'm a temp web-designer. ;)
You work at Costco?
I just want to point out that, "fanboyism" aside, you're quite wrong about the style of game that this is. Your comparison to Titan Quest couldn't be farther off, because it's not a "point and click action RPG." You command a party of four characters, each with up to 12 different abilities on their hotbars; these abilities range from direct attacks, to party buffs, to heals, to enemy debuffs, etc. You can play the game in real time and set up a series of "tactic" macros (with If -> Then scenarios, such as "If party member is at 50% health, automatically cast Heal on them,) so that you don't have to micromanage as much.
There is no wild clicking like in Titan Quest, but instead frequent pausing, re-assessing the battlefield and queuing up different abilities to deal with evolving scenarios. The combat itself is quite visceral, with some amazing finishing moves; early in the campaign you get to see your character vault up onto the chest of an ogre and shove a sword into its face.
If you're holding off on your purchase because you think it's going to be like Titan Quest, then you're doing yourself a disservice. If you're looking for a first-person "mouse-click to swing" RPG though, then yes you need to look elsewhere.
Thanks, finally an intelligent response to my comments.
Yes, I think I may have to look elsewhere, I like the connection of mouse-click to swing which I thought this game would have, the marketing videos made it look like a game like that.
Amazing game, not the horrible casual RPG Oblivion was, a true RPG players dream. I have yet to finish it, but what i've played so far has been amazing.
