1. Purpose
This privacy policy (hereinafter the "Privacy Policy") illustrates the company's commitment Mediarithmics, Simplified Joint Stock Company with a share capital of 82 076,00 €, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 533 760 450 and whose registered office is located 3 rue d'Edimbourg in Paris (75008) ('MEDIARITHMICS") with regard to the respect of the privacy and protection of the personal data of users (hereinafter the "User(s)") of the following website:
https://www.mediarithmics.io (hereinafter the "Site").
In particular, the Site allows:
- To have information about MEDIARITHMICS and the services and products offered by MEDIARITHMICS;
- To have access to the resources made available on the Site (Customer Cases, Events, White Papers & Reports, Blog);
- To contact MEDIARITHMICS;
- To log in to your customer area;
- To apply for job offers offered by MEDIARITHMICS.
2. Processing of personal data
2.1. Description of processing operationsIn accordance with the laws and regulations in force, MEDIARITHMICS , acting as data controller, collects certain personal data from Users during their visit to the Site.The categories of personal data collected as well as the purpose of the processing of such personal data, the legal basis for the processing and the retention period of the personal data are specified in the table below:

When connecting to the Site, MEDIARITHMICS, acting as data controller, also collects the personal data of the following Users:

2.2. Recipients of personal data
Access to Users' personal data is restricted only to those persons who need the personal data in order to achieve the specific purpose of the processing.
Users' personal data is processed by MEDIARITHMICS' authorized personnel (human resources, sales, marketing, legal department, IT system administration) and by service providers who support MEDIARITHMICS' activity, in particular for the following activities:
- Ticketing and project management;
- Data hosting and backup;
- Implementation of security testing;
- Follow-up of recruitment.
Users' personal data may also be communicated by MEDIARITHMICS to third parties:
- in response to a request from a public or judicial authority (in particular in the event of a judicial requisition);
- when MEDIARITHMICS considers that the transmission of Users' personal data is necessary or appropriate in order to ensure the safety of persons or protect the public.
- if the law or legal process requires MEDIARITHMICS to share Users' personal data;
- when MEDIARITHMICS considers that the transmission of Users' personal data is necessary or appropriate in order to ensure the safety of persons or protect the public.
2.3. Transfer of personal data
Users' personal data is collected by the Site's host in France: OVH SAS located at 2 rue Kellermann in Roubaix (59100).
And by third-party providers of technical services, email services, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies that MEDIARITHMICS uses in the course of its activity, some of which are located in the United States.
Users' personal data is hosted on servers located in France and the United States. Users' personal data is therefore transferred outside the European Economic Area.
MEDIARITHMICS undertakes to ensure a level of protection of Users' personal data identical to the level of protection provided by the application of the GDPR, and in particular has concluded Standard Contractual Clauses with companies located outside the European Economic Area, in their version amended in June 2021 by the European Commission, and has put in place additional security guarantees as established by the judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union European Court of Justice (CJEU) of 16 July 2020 (known as the "Schrems II" judgment).
2.4. Security of personal data
MEDIARITHMICS ensures the security of Users' personal data by implementing appropriate technical and organisational measures to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risk and implements means to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of the systems and processing services, any means to restore the availability and access to the personal data of the Users, as well as a procedure for regularly testing, analysing and evaluating the effectiveness of the technical and organisational measures implemented by MEDIARITHMICS.
2.5. Retention of personal data
Users' personal data is kept only for the time necessary to achieve the purpose for which MEDIARITHMICS holds such data (in accordance with the retention periods set out in point 2.1 of this Privacy Policy) and may be kept for a longer period, not exceeding the applicable legal limitation periods, to fulfil its legal obligations or in order to enable it to exercise its rights and/or for statistical or historical purposes.
At the end of the above-mentioned periods, the Users' personal data will be deleted or MEDIARITHMICS will anonymize them.
2.6. Users' rights over their personal data
Users have the following rights over their personal data
Rights of access and rectification
Users may request access to their personal data.
They may also request the rectification of their personal data that is inaccurate or that their incomplete personal data be completed.
They also have the right to know the origin of their personal data.
Right to erasure
Users may request the deletion of their personal data when:
The data is no longer necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which it was collected and processed;
They have chosen to withdraw their consent (in cases where consent has been collected as the legal basis for processing), as this withdrawal does not impact the lawfulness of the processing before it is carried out;
They objected to the treatment;
The data has been processed unlawfully;
The data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation; or
Their deletion is required to ensure compliance with the legislation in force, in particular with regard to the retention periods applicable to the personal data collected.
Right to object
Users may object to the processing of their personal data in compliance with the legal obligations imposed on MEDIARITHMICS.
Right to Limitation
Users may also request the restriction of the processing of their personal data if:
They dispute the accuracy of this data;
MEDIARITHMICS no longer needs this data for processing purposes; and
They objected to the processing of their data.
Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated data processing to erasure
Users have the option of not being subject to a decision based exclusively on automated processing that produces legal effects concerning them or significantly affects them, in particular based on profiling.
Right to portability
Users may ask MEDIARITHMICS to provide them with their personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or request that they be "ported" directly to another data controller provided that:
The processing is based on their consent; and
That it is carried out by automated means.
Right to issue advance directives on the processing of personal data after their death
Pursuant to Article 85, I of the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended, Users may define directives on the exercise of their rights provided for in this section after their death (in particular on the retention period of their personal data, their deletion and/or the communication of their personal data), as well as designate a person responsible for exercising these rights.
In the absence of such directives, MEDIARITHMICS will grant the requests of their heirs, as exhaustively set out in Article 85, II of the Data Protection Act.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
If Users have concerns or complaints regarding the protection of their personal data, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés via the following link:

The User is invited to inform the Data Protection Officer of MEDIARITHMICS in advance so that the latter can process the request and try to find an amicable solution.

In order for MEDIARITHMICS to process the request as quickly as possible, the User may indicate in his request the purpose of the request and the context in which his personal data was collected by MEDIARITHMICS and MEDIARITHMICS may ask the User to provide him with a copy of both sides of a valid identity document, in the event of reasonable doubt as to his identity.
2.7. Cookies
