🌟 Women of Impact Wednesday 🌟    This week’s Women of Impact Award Honoree is a powerhouse woman in tech with over 20 years of experience in building and scaling technology businesses. Please join us in congratulating Mona Sabet! 🎉    Based in Silicon Valley, Mona has held executive roles in various tech companies, excelling in strategy development, transaction structuring, and operational excellence. She is currently the Chief Corporate Development and Administration Officer at VulcanForms Inc., as well as the Founder and Executive Member at Hipower. Not only does she hold these impressive positions, but she also serves on several boards for startups and the organizations that support them.    In one of her past roles, Mona built the corporate development, partnerships, and legal teams from the ground up, secured the first set of technology partnerships for the company, closed 4 acquisitions, helped lead the company’s $100M funding round, and took the company public on the New York Stock Exchange. As part of the IPO process, Mona facilitated the diversification of the board by adding three women, developed the company’s ESG strategy, and led a directed share program for their contributor community. During her tenure at this organization, the company quadrupled its revenue employee headcount. 🏆    In addition to her corporate leadership, Mona is passionate about inspiring and empowering those around her:    ⭐ In 2005, she co-founded ChIPs Network, a global community that advances and connects women in tech, law, and policy. Today, ChIPs Network serves almost 5000 members across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.     ⭐ She sat on the advisory board of Women in Data Science during their first 4 years of operation.     ⭐ She led the strategy and implementation that took The Grace Hopper Celebration, the world’s largest annual convention of women technologists, from 8,000 to 15,000 attendees in 2 years, doubling revenue.    ⭐ In 2012, she founded HiPower, a group of leaders championing executive women who drive big changes. Today, HiPower has grown to include an influential group of nearly 100 women founders and board-ready executives.    Mona’s track record of scaling businesses and driving operational excellence has guided numerous technology companies to new heights. Mona's leadership on advisory boards has helped companies navigate critical moments and elevate their leadership skills to meet their goals. Growing up as a tomboy, attending engineering schools, and starting my career as a software engineer 25+ years ago, I transitioned into a product leader in the tech industry. Throughout my journey, I've had the pleasure of working with amazing male and female colleagues who have become dear friends. In the last decade, I've had the opportunity to meet and hire talented female leaders who bring a unique perspective to our work. Beyond our shared passion for emerging technologies, what made me smile the most are the lovely small talks on colors and fashion, they make great experiences even greater. Recently, I had the honor of joining AI experts Nupur Srivastava, Sabrine Elbahri, Mamta Suri, and Yakaira Núñez for a panel discussion on Aggressive AI vs. Humans at the Women Impact Tech conference in SF. Our discussion was thought-provoking, challenging assumptions, and exploring the dynamics between humans and AI. During our prep, we even discussed the background color on stage before diving into AI topics. It was a moment filled with smiles and camaraderie. We ended up with vibrant color mix, I chose bright blue. 😊 The event was a blend of digital innovation and fashion, I noticed the stylish pink suit from the Women In Tech organizers (wish I had taken a picture) and the fashion corner in the hall. What a lovely combination, Tech with fashion. Though I could only attend for a short time, the event left a lasting impression with its engaging discussions on AI, complemented by the subtle details of color and fashion. As we navigate the future of technology with AI, a touch of humanity and harmony makes the journey even more fulfilling. 🌟 #Tech #WomenInTech #AI #Innovation #Fashion #WomenLeadership
