Explore ancient Scandinavian mountains as a young Norse woman, use your parkour skills to find a way home, and discover the mystery behind a forgotten myth scrawled all over the mountain range.

The game will include three chapters:
- First chapter ... in development (spring 2024).
- Second chapter ... TBD.
- Third chapter ... TBD.

Chapters will not be sold separately, they will be added to the main game instead.
Once purchased, all three chapters will be made available without further payment on their release. The game's price will slightly increase with each new chapter released.

The game is currently in Early Access available on Steam and other stores. The Early Access will stop with the release of the first chapter.

Project Utgardr is a first-person parkour platform adventure inspired by Norse and pre-Viking culture.

Adventuring amidst the mountains of her homeland, Thyra finds a fissure that mysteriously appeared on a cliff face and a hidden passage that crumbles behind her as she passes through it.

Thyra, now trapped in uncharted territory and searching for a way home, quickly gets her bearings in the arduous environment using her climbing abilities, discovering timeworn engravings and weathered altars.

Coming across an ancient, forgotten tale, Thyra discovers her role in it and follows its fragments to reveal its secret.

Explore breathtaking landscapes and perilous precipices on a homeward journey after being suddenly stranded in a forgotten corner of ancient Scandinavia.

ᚱ - Intuitive parkour and platforming.

Take advantage of Thyra’s parkour abilities to traverse the crumbling road. Sprint through various environments and overcome different obstacles.

ᚱ - Flashes of Norse culture.

The ancient runes carved on the hidden crags point towards the right path and abandoned shrines built by an old Norse civilization centuries ago.

ᚱ - Unseen forces guide you.

Follow shards of a lost myth chiseled into the face of the mountain and discover its secret. Locate strange glowing flowers and pray to the Horgr scattered all over for a safe haven. Something seems keen to help you on this journey…

A New Perspective.

Here we are with a new update, and we’re getting closer and closer to the end of the first chapter.

We added fewer areas this time, though they started to become more and more intricate gameplay wise, and changed some animations to get the stiffness out of Thyra while introducing a few new ones. As usual we also improved the scripts and other internal workings of the game, and we hope you will enjoy them.

We’re really happy with how Project Utgardr is going and we’re excited to share, when the time is right, news of our next and last major update for the Early Access, that will mark the end of the first chapter.

We hope to see you again for our biggest step yet.
