Nocturne Op55N1 Walkthrough
This page is part of IGN's Cyberpunk 2077 Wiki guide and details a complete walkthrough for the Nocturne Op55N1 Main Job, along with every major choice and consequence that's available during the mission.
Nocturne Op55N1
After the completion of Transmission and Search and Destroy, you'll receive a phone call from Hanako.
Meet Hanako at Embers
Following your phone call from Hanako, begin making your way to Embers, a restaurant that's located in The Glen district.
Upon arriving at the elevator, head inside and press the control panel to reach Embers. As you press the button, V will begin experiencing another relic malfunction. Appearing in the elevator, Johnny will share his thoughts on the mission, stating that he's got a bad feeling about it and will warn V to delta at the first signs of trouble.
As you arrive at Embers, follow the way point marker until you reach Hanako by the piano.
Talk to Hanako
Upon speaking with Hanako, V learns that the Arasaka family knew all along about Yorinobu, and his involvement in his father's death.
The conversation that follows with Hanako has no effect or consequences on the ending of the game, so you are free to choose your responses as you please.
As the Relic begins to malfunction, end your conversation with Hanako and leave Embers via the same elevator you used to enter the restaurant.
Talk with Johnny
When pressing the elevator's control panel to reach the ground floor, V's condition will begin to worsen. Not happy with the decisions that were made during their conversation with Hanako, Johnny will share his dislike of the Arasaka's and questions as to why you'd even consider their offer.
After a short conversation, the malfunction will ramp up, causing V to collapse to the ground. Taking control of the situation, Johnny will take V to the only place he knows that can help - Vik's.
Follow Misty
Following your conversation with Viktor, V learns just how critical their condition actually is and it's only a matter of time before their next major malfunction causes them to flatline completely.
Following Vik's not-so-subtle advice, pick up the pills and gun off the nearby surgical table and head towards the exit. Before you're about to leave, Misty will stop you and ask you to follow her to a quiet place where you can decide your fate.
Upon reaching the rooftop, Misty will share more about Jackie's past and how he once came to this same location.
Accepting Misty's offer, sit in the balcony chair and finish off your conversation. After sharing why Jackie once visited this location, she will offer you some time to think alone.
Call Your Romantic Interest
After Misty leaves, Johnny suggests that it's time to call anyone that you wish to say your final goodbyes to, as V's future isn't looking promising.
Depending on your decision, it will have a minor consequence in your Epilogue.
- Calling Your Love Interest: Calling your love interest will allow you to say your final goodbye, as your not certain if you'll see them again. Saying goodbye will also cause the character in question to make an appearance during the Epilogue.
- Goodbyes Aren't My Style: Should you choose not to call your love interest, you'll be on your own during the epilogue.
Choose Your Ending
Following your decision on the aforementioned phone call, you'll now be left to decide how your game ends.
The decision that you make will be vital and there is no goin' back. We have broken down which options you will need to select in order to play out each particular ending.
Depending on your decision, click on the following links below for a complete walkthrough of your chosen ending.
- Hanako's Path (Where Is My Mind Ending)
- "Think trusting Arasaka's risky but worth it."
- "[Take omega-blockers] Yeah. Don't be mad.
- This will lead to the Last Caress, Totalimmortal, and Where Is My Mind missions. This will unlock The Devil Achievement.
- Rogue's Path (New Dawn Fades OR Path of Glory Ending)
- "Think you and Rogue should go."
- "[Take pseudoendotrizine] I am. Do your thing, Johnny.
- This will lead to the For Whom The Bell Tolls and Knockin' On Heaven's Door missions.
- At the end of Knockin' On Heaven's Door, you'll have the option to choose between two endings:
- The Sun Achievement - Cross the bridge and enter Cyberspace forever: Path of Glory
- Temperance Achievement - Enter the well to return to V's Body: New Dawn Fades
- Panam's Path (All Along the Watchtower OR New Dawn Fades Ending)
- "Gonna ask Panam for help."
- "[Take omega-blockers] Yep. Gonna do this with the nomads.
- This will lead to the We Gotta Live Together, Forward To Death, and Belly Of The Beast missions.
- At the end of Belly Of The Beast, you'll have the option to choose between two endings:
- Temperance Achievement - V crosses the bridge and enters Cyberspace forever: New Dawn Fades
- The Star Achievement - V enters the well and returns to their body: All Along The Watchtower
- Secret Ending ((Don't) Fear the Reaper)
- "Think you and Rogue should go."
- You will now want to wait approximately 5 minutes on this menu, as after some time has passed, Johnny will speak up and offer you another solution.
- "Let's hear this plan."
- This will lead to the secret ending (Don't) Fear the Reaper.
- If you die during this mission, the ending credits will roll. However, if you do not die, you'll have the option to choose between two endings after reaching the Mikoshi Access Point:
- The Sun Achievement - Cross the bridge and enter Cyberspace forever: Path of Glory
- Temperance Achievement - Enter the well to return to V's Body: New Dawn Fades
- There's Another Way (Path of Least Resistance)
- "Could also put this all to rest."
- "[Toss pills] I know. Exactly what we're gonna do.
- This will trigger the shortest (and arguably, the worst) ending, the Path of Least Resistance.
