bookshelves: library-has, mystery, things-go-bump-in-the-night

I wasn’t at all sure this book was going to work for me when I realized that the plot revolves around financial fraud and almost all of the characters are deeply flawed at best and deliberately dishonest at worst. But I should have had more faith in the author of Station Eleven.
