I read this book 10 years ago and found it a gripping as well as shocking read of an area of history that I was not familiar with. It does not seem appropriate to say "enjoy it," but like your last post said it is very interesting.

It is a gripping and shocking read and I'm only about half way though the book. Even though I'm unfamiliar with this historical event, there are elements of the story that mirror current events...only different precious resources to procure, regardless of consequences.

Lol! I always have good intentions, Kevin. It's just the follow through where I fall down.
