I. Kid. You. Not. [image] I picked this up hoping for some graphic novel insight into the porn industry, making a presumption around its title; sadly as ever yet another 'mature sexual content' graphic novel that mixes sex, humour and story and this fails on all three counts. Any plusses, some of the human cast interrelations are very good and often funny, and the human art is OK, the aliens not so much. I would recommend reading Tim Seeley's other works... but saying that, I am intrigued/ attached enough to want to read the second volume, as I will admit that this volume was still a fun read! So far a 5 out of 12, Two Star jam. [image] It took me nearly a year to read, because after reading the awful first issue, it took me 10 months to recover before reading issue two! 2024 read...more

The creators announced the end of this as a comic book series, saying that it will move ahead as a graphic novel series only. is this the shape of things to come for the comic book industry? We get to know a lot more about the past and the present for Annabelle, Simon and Keenan. Solid stuff, with some innovative twists and turns, and not at all focused on sex at all! 7 out of 12, Three Star read. [image] 2017 and 2016 read...more

The Alpha twins continue doing thing their way regardless of the victims they create, and indeed the sensibilities of us readers! Keenan has a mission... deep undercover. And someone or someones are making moves against crime lord, The Old Man. [image] Despite the highly graphic nature of the book it all feels pertinent and essential to the developing stories. This series continues to use innovative story telling, with non-linear plotting, lots of mystery and very little superhero-ing in a superheroic reality, all in all making it a good read! 8 out of 12, Four Stars sees an improvident on the first volume now we know the characters and have a stronger sense of Saturn City. I read the comic books Sex #1-8 which cover the content of volume 1 of Sex. This has pretty graphic content - in the sexual acts obsessed world of Saturn City a retired superhero tries to rebuild his corporate empire. Despite his retirement, the world goes on and the super villains are still out there operating. Despite the highly graphic nature of the book, I found that this has some quite innovative story telling, with non-linear plotting, lots of mystery and very little superhero-ing, all in all making it a good read! 7 out of 12, Three Stars.
