I guess the main advantage of the print version is that you can refer to the maps on the beginning of all the chapters during reading to really understand location-based points
Dave
I'm listening to it. I am loving it. I often pull out my phone and look up maps of the area that he is describing.

The print version is in black and white anyhow :)

It's nice to be able to reference the maps while reading. Harder to flip back and fourth on the kindle.

Kindle edition works fine. Having a separate map in an atlas or on the computer will give you the relevant visual cues. But it is not necessary after you get the overall geography of the area and how it relates to its surrounding landmarks.

I read it on Kindle and liked the book, but you can't really reference the maps which is frustrating.
Univpurpose
yes you can. it is an easy read, not necessarily an intellectually challenging one though.
